摘要: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided in connection with facilitating secure D2D communications in a LTE based WWAN. In one example, a UE is equipped to send a shared key request using a first non-access stratum (NAS) message to a MME, calculate a first UE key based on a MME-first UE key, an uplink count value, and at least a portion of contextual information, receive a second NAS message from the MME, and calculate a final UE key based at least on the first UE key. In another example, a MME is equipped to receive a NAS message such as the message send by the first UE, calculate a first UE key, receive a message at least indicating successful contact with the second UE, and send a second NAS message to the first UE indicating the successful contact.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure relate to computing technologies. In particular, aspects of the disclosure relate to mobile computing device technologies, such as systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media for improving orientation data. In one embodiment, the orientation data is generated based on information synchronized to a common sensor input from a plurality of sensor inputs. In one implementation, the common sensor input is from a gyroscope. Furthermore, techniques are provided for improved and novel methods of presenting orientation data to an application layer.

摘要: An apparatus for detecting forward and reverse link imbalances in a digital cellular communication system is provided. An indication of maximum access probes is used to determine whether a link imbalance caused a reverse link failure to occur. The maximum access probes condition indicates that a wireless unit has attempted to access a base station a pre-defined maximum number of times. An indication of a lost paging channel and a traffic channel initialization (TCI) time out is used to determine whether a link imbalance caused a forward link failure to occur. If the wireless unit did not lose the paging channel, the apparatus determines whether a TCI time out occurred. If the wireless unit lost the paging channel, or it did not lose the paging channel but a TCI time out occurred, the apparatus determines the cause for the forward link failure.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first device (e.g., user equipment (UE), base station) may determine a condition of a channel between the first device and a second device (e.g., UE, base station). The first device may apply pre-equalization to the signal based on one or more pre-equalization parameters. The one or more pre-equalization parameters may be based on the condition of the channel. The first device may transmit, to the second device, or a third device (e.g., UE, base station), or both, a report indicating the one or more pre-equalization parameters associated with the pre-equalized signal. The first device may transmit, to the second device, the pre-equalized signal over the channel. The second device may decode the pre-equalized signal based on the report. The third device may receive the pre-equalized signal and perform interference cancelation procedures to the pre-equalized signal based on the report.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a sidelink synchronization signal and may identify a set of parameters (e.g., cyclic shifts or orthogonal cover codes) that are configured for generating a set of reference signals for transmission within a sidelink broadcast resource based on receiving the sidelink synchronization signal. The UE may transmit, within the sidelink broadcast channel resource, a first reference signal of the set of reference signals that is generated based on applying, to a reference signal sequence, a first parameter of the set of parameters that is orthogonal to a second parameter of the set of parameters that is applied to the reference signal sequence to generate a second reference signal of the set of reference signals.

摘要: Techniques for transmitting and detecting for overhead channels and signals in a wireless network are described. In an aspect, a base station may blank (i.e., not transmit) at least one overhead transmission on certain resources in order to detect for the at least one overhead transmission of another base station. In one design, the base station may (i) send the overhead transmission(s) on a first subset of designated resources and (ii) blank the overhead transmission(s) on a second subset of the designated resources. The designated resources may be resources on which the overhead transmission(s) are sent by macro base stations. The base station may detect for the overhead transmission(s) from at least one other base station on the second subset of the designated resources. In another aspect, the base station may transmit the overhead transmission(s) on additional resources different from the designated resources.

摘要: In a TD-SCDMA user equipment (UE) with multiple receive chains, receive diversity may be implemented where multiple receive chains may simultaneously activate to perform reception on downlink signals. Receive diversity may be enabled when single chain reception provides undesired results and when receive diversity will not impact power consumption too much. A state machine may be implemented to control receive diversity operation based on operating conditions such as an error rate, signal-to-interference ratio, and other factors.

摘要: A floating-point processor with selectable subprecision includes a register configured to store a plurality of bits in a floating-point format, a controller, and a floating-point mathematical operator. The controller is configured to select a subprecision for a floating-point operation, in response to user input. The controller is configured to determine a subset of the bits, in accordance with the selected subprecision. The floating-point operator is configured to perform the floating-point operation using only the subset of the bits. Excess bits that are not used in the floating-point operation may be forced into a low-leakage state. The output value resulting from the floating-point operation is either truncated or rounded to the selected subprecision.
