摘要: Methods, systems, and devices are described for configuration of multiple power distribution units (PDUs) in an efficient manner. Power distribution units may be discovered on a network, and automatically configured according to a configuration defined for a particular location. A location may be, for example, a geographical region, a data center, a zone within a data center, a cabinet, or an individual PDU. All PDUs associated with a particular location may be provided with a common configuration file that defines operating parameters for the PDUs. In such a manner, a user may simply connect the PDU to the network, with the appropriate configuration provided without additional involvement of the user.

摘要: A combination outlet connector is disclosed. The combination outlet connector includes an outlet core having three T-shaped apertures. The outlet core has a core outer surface to mate with a first connector type, such as a C14 connector, and electrical terminals are positioned in corresponding apertures. A removable adapter sleeve is positionable around the outlet core and has a sleeve outer surface to mate with a second connector type, such as a C20 connector. The adapter sleeve includes a sleeve aperture at least partially congruent with the core outer surface. The electrical terminals are configured to connect with mating terminals of the first and second connector types. A removable adapter shroud can be positioned around the outlet core. The shroud includes a shroud inner surface to receive the first connector type and a shroud flange having a shroud aperture at least partially congruent with the core outer surface.

The outlet cores each extend a portion of the distance between the circuit boards and the outlet panel, and the outlet panel includes a plurality of apertures each corresponding to an associated one of the plurality of outlet cores. One or more overcurrent protection devices are mounted in a non-outlet panel aligned along the length of the housing.

摘要: An outlet module including a module housing comprising a base surface and a sidewall extending therefrom to at least partially surround an interior region. Multiple outlet cores extend from the base surface and at least one latch lever is pivotably coupled to the sidewall and adjacent a corresponding one of the multiple outlet cores. The latch lever is moveable between a first position, wherein the at least one latch lever is capable of engaging a mating plug and a second position, wherein the at least one latch lever is disengaged from the plug.

摘要: An adapter for interconnecting a power distribution unit (PDU) to electrical equipment. The adapter can include a first connector mateable with an outlet of the PDU and a second connector in electrical communication with the first connector. The second connector is mateable with a power input of the electrical equipment. PDU interface circuitry incorporating an optical interface can be housed in the first connector for communicating one or more electrical parameters of the electrical equipment to the PDU when the first connector is mated with the outlet of the PDU.

At least certain power outputs can be connectable to one or more electrical loads external to the power distribution unit enclosure and to the power input. In some embodiments, an intelligent power section can communicate with at least one of the power outputs and can connect to a communications network external to the power distribution unit enclosure.

A transfer switch control circuit can sense a power loss in one or both AC sources. Each power supply can deliver current to drive a load but, if one of the power supplies fails, the other can supply power to drive both loads.
