摘要: A method for improving the linearity of a radio frequency power amplifier, a compensation circuit (307) for implementing the method, and a communications terminal with the compensation circuit (307). In the method, a compensation circuit (307) is connected between a base (a3) and a collector (b3) of a transistor of a common emitter amplifier (306), in order to neutralize the impact of a variation in capacitance between the base (a3) and the collector (b3) of the transistor (306) according to a radio frequency signal. No additional direct-current power consumption is needed, and degradation in performance of other radio frequency power amplifiers can be avoided. The corresponding compensation circuit (307) can be easily integrated with a main amplification circuit, without affecting other performance of the main amplification circuit, and provides high adjustability.

摘要: An adjustable gain power amplifier, a gain adjustment method and a mobile terminal are disclosed. The adjustable gain power amplifier comprises an input matching circuit, a gain adjustment circuit, a biasing circuit, a main amplification circuit, and an output matching circuit; the input matching circuit is connected between an input end and the gain adjustment circuit; the gain adjustment circuit is connected between the input matching circuit and the input end of the main amplification circuit; the output end of the main amplification circuit is connected to the output matching circuit, a positive power source end thereof is connected to a power supply source, a negative power source end thereof is connected to the biasing circuit; the biasing circuit provides different biasing voltages for the main amplification circuit; and the gain adjustment circuit and the biasing circuit are respectively connected to a gain adjustment control voltage (Vctrl).

摘要: A positive-and-negative-voltage charge pump circuit, comprising a clock generation module, a positive-voltage charge pump module, a transient enhancement module, and a negative-voltage charge pump module. The positive-voltage charge pump module generates a positive voltage according to a clock signal output by the clock generation module, and the transient enhancement module is used to sample the positive voltage and a power supply voltage, and convert same into currents for comparison, such that the negative-voltage charge pump module provides a switchable input voltage according to a comparison result. The negative-voltage charge pump module can quickly and reliably establish a negative voltage according to a clock signal output by the clock generation module, thereby improving the speed and efficiency of the negative-voltage charge pump module generating the negative voltage. Further disclosed are an integrated circuit chip, which comprises the positive-and-negative-voltage charge pump circuit, and a communication terminal.

摘要: An active bias circuit for a power amplifier and a mobile terminal are disclosed. The circuit includes a proportional to absolute temperature (PTAT) current source circuit, a reference voltage circuit, an isolation voltage stabilizing circuit, and a bias voltage circuit. An input end of the PTAT current source circuit is connected to a voltage source (Vbat), and an output end is connected to the reference voltage circuit. The reference voltage circuit generates a reference voltage that is in proportion to a current and a temperature. The isolation voltage stabilizing circuit isolates the reference voltage circuit from the bias voltage circuit, and supplies a stabilized voltage to the bias voltage circuit by using a negative feedback loop. The bias voltage circuit receives the voltage of the isolation voltage stabilizing circuit, and is also connected to the voltage source (Vbat).

The radio frequency power amplifier divides, by means of a 90-degree power splitter unit, a radio frequency input signal into two equal-amplitude signals having a phase difference of 90 degrees, the two radio frequency input signals are amplified and then inputted into an adjustable 90 -degree power combiner, and the values of a adjustable capacitor and an adjustable resistor in the adjustable 90-degree power combiner are controlled by means of a control unit, so as to synthesize the two radio frequency input signals into one radio frequency input signal when the phase difference and amplitude difference of the two signals at different frequencies are the smallest, and to input the radio frequency input signal into a circuit of the next stage by means of a specific radio frequency transmission path.
