    摘要: A system for fabricating a dental restoration to restore a plurality of teeth in a dentition of a patient is described. The dentition includes a restoration dental arch and an opposing dental arch. The restoration dental arch includes a restoration site and the opposing dental arch is opposite the restoration dental arch. The system includes an impression apparatus, a motion capture apparatus, an interference model generation system, and a restoration design system. The impression apparatus is configured to capture an impression of the dentition of the patient. The motion capture apparatus is configured to capture a plurality of location data points that represent the locations of the opposing dental arch relative to the restoration dental arch. The interference model generation system is configured to generate an interference model for the restoration site. The restoration design system is for designing a restoration using the interference model.

    摘要: A method for measuring the acoustic damping capacity of a material or structure, such as a layered honeycomb structure, comprises tapping the honeycomb structure with a tapping rod. The tapping action imparts mechanical energy to the honeycomb structure. The method further comprises measuring, for a time interval, energy reflected from the honeycomb structure as a result of the tapping. The method further comprises creating a time-energy profile based on the energy reflected from the honeycomb structure during the time interval. The method further comprises evaluating the time-energy profile to determine the acoustic damping capacity of the honeycomb structure.

    摘要: A dental impression tray fastened to teeth in one quadrant, supports through a semi-rigid, non-resilient member, an electric transducer having an input probe positioned against the lingual surface of a tooth. A strip chart recorder is electrically coupled to the transducer and produces a graph in response to movement of the tooth caused by externally manually applied bi-directional forces on the tooth. A special tool is employed to apply forces, being adapted not only to movement of molars, but also incisors.
