    摘要： A foot spa tub includes a tub basin, a first magnetic drive member rotatably coupled to a drive motor, and a first casing supporting the magnetic drive member. The first casing is disposed against an exterior surface of a sidewall of the basin. A second magnetic drive member is rotatably coupled to a blade. The first and second magnetic drive members are magnetically coupled to each other so that the blade is drivingly coupled to the drive motor. A nozzle houses the second magnetic drive member and the blade. The nozzle is detachably securable to an interior surface of the sidewall by a magnetic attraction force between the first and second magnetic drive members. A method of circulating liquid in a foot tub spa is also provided.

    摘要： A portable hydro-thermal therapy system for use with a vessel for containing water and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, the portable hydro-thermal therapy system includes a mobile trailer having a platform to achieve point-to-point haulage thereof. A cool water supply device having inlet and outlet port is mounted on the platform. The cool water supply device includes a water circulation path from the inlet port to the outlet port, a water pump coupled to the water circulation path, and a refrigeration cycle contained within the cool water supply device. A thermostat and water pump may cooperate in combination to provide water between about 50° F. and about 55° F. The water circulation path is thermally proximate to the evaporator coil in order to cool the water being pumped through the water circulation path to and from the vessel by way of inlet and outlet tubing.

    摘要： A device for discharging bubbling streams of water into a bath. The device has a main float and a subfloat mounted on top of the main float so as to be floatable in the water in a bathtub and movable up and down with the change in the water level. The hot water in the bathtub is sucked up into the device from its bottom by a pump driven by a motor, the pump and the motor being mounted in the main float. The water drawn into the device is filtered by means of a strainer and sent up to the top of the device through a cylindrical space formed around the motor and passed through a plurality of injection nozzles, where air is mixed into the water to form bubbling streams, and through a plurality of downwardly angled discharge ports into the bathtub under the surface of the water.

    摘要： A hydrotherapeutic device which is useful in administering whirlpool therapy is provided which is of portable light-weight construction and is adapted for easy attachment to a conventional bathtub or other basin used for housing a water bath. The therapeutic device includes a housing, agitating means, such as pump means, connected to the housing and adapted to be disposed in a water bath, drive means such as an air-driven vane wheel, connected to the agitating means and adapted to drive the agitating means, and suction means in operative communication with the drive means for powering the drive means. The drive means and suction means are adapted to be disposed out of contact with the water bath and therefore away from the patient receiving therapy. The suction means may comprises any conventional vacuum cleaner apparatus such as of the cannister type or other conventional suction source. The above apparatus may be modified so that the drive means may be powered by a source of positive fluid pressure, such as by compressed air supplied by the exhaust side of a conventional vacuum cleaner. In addition, the hydrotherapeutic device of the invention may include means for varying and controlling the speed at which the agitator means is driven, such means comprising valve means which may be opened to allow air to pass into the housing of the device bypassing the vane wheel, thereby causing a corresponding reduction in the speed of rotation of the vane wheel.
