The adapter body is formed by an injection molding process such that the head part, the body parts, and the spike parts are integrated with each other, and a liquid drug flow path that guides the movement of a liquid drug from the respective spike parts to the head part via the respective body parts may be formed inside the adapter body.

A plunger rod includes a protrusion and is adapted to communicate with the latch member, the plunger rod being transitionable from a disengaged position, in which the protrusion of the plunger rod is disengaged from the latch member and the latch member is locked to the cartridge, to an engaged position, in which the protrusion is engaged with the latch member and the latch member is unlocked from the cartridge and locked to the plunger rod.

摘要： A septum holder having a disk shaped annular body. The body has a cylindrical bottom part that projects downward, a cavity created in the bottom part of the body, an insert comprising at least one bore that forms the seat of a needle valve fitted into the cavity, at least one resilient elongated arm attached to the side of the body, the at least one arm projecting downward and terminating with a distal enlarged element, and a septum. The septum is made of a single piece of cylindrically shaped resilient material. The upper part of the septum has a hollow interior forming a cylindrical recess having an inner diameter no larger than that of the outer diameter of the cylindrical section at the bottom of the body of the septum holder. The lowest part of the septum has a diameter that matches that of a septum in a fluid transfer component. The septum is adapted to be pushed over the bottom part of the body of the septum holder until the solid part of the septum below the recess butts against the bottom of the at least one bore in the insert.

The liquid vial adapter and the drug vial adapter are engaged in the initial extended set-up position and the intermediate compacted flow communication position. The self-sealing access valve is closed in the initial extended set-up position and compressed open in the intermediate compacted flow communication position.

This drug delivery device includes: a first member connected to the drug container on the side of a stopper; a second member connected to the first member and to the syringe barrel; and a third member connected to the first member and covering the drug container in a sealed state. The first member has a first hollow needle member and a drug container holder, and the second member has a second hollow needle member. The third member has an opening portion, a bottom surface portion where the drug container is stably mounted, and a flexible member which is connected to the opening portion and the bottom surface portion.
