摘要: The oxygen delivery apparatus comprises: an oxygen tank; an outlet valve unit configured to include a variable flow valve capable of variably controlling the amount of oxygen, a pressure sensor, and a control unit controlling the operation of the outlet valve unit on the basis of a signal from the pressure sensor in order to control the amount of oxygen delivered to a recipient. The control unit controls the outlet valve unit on the basis of the pressure signal and an oxygen delivery mode selected from among a plurality of preset oxygen delivery modes, receives a prescribed flow (that is a prescribed oxygen delivery flow) and a target average consumed flow, selects one of the plurality of oxygen delivery modes according to the size of a obtained saving ratio obtained as ratio of the input prescribed flow and the target average consumed flow, and controls the delivery of oxygen on the basis of the selected mode.

摘要: An electronic oxygen conserving device for controlling a flow of oxygen from an oxygen storage container to a user. When a conserve setting is selected, a flow of oxygen travels through an oxygen regulating valve that has an open state and a closed state. A temporary electrical charge or current is provided to the oxygen regulating valve during the initial inhalation of oxygen by an individual, opening the regulating valve opens to delivery oxygen to the user. The oxygen regulating valve remains open even after termination of the electric current. After a predetermined timed delivery dose or upon exhalation by the individual, a subsequent temporary electric charge or current is provided to oxygen regulating valve, closing the regulating valve closes to prevent delivery of oxygen to the user, thus conserving oxygen. The oxygen regulating valve remains closed even after termination of the subsequent electric current.

摘要: A bottle contains at least one oxygen chamber allowing a user to breathe pure oxygen by placing their mouth and nose in a facemask contoured to fit the users face. The bottle also holds water so the user can drink clean pure water as well. The oxygen is pressurized allowing more oxygen to be stored in the chambers and to aid the user in getting the oxygen into his or her lungs. The present invention allows a user to drink water and breathe pure oxygen in a safe and convenient manner.

摘要: The present invention provides an oxygen control system for supplying a predetermined rate of flow from an oxygen source to a person in need of supplemental oxygen comprising an input manifold, an output manifold and a plurality of gas conduits interconnecting the input manifold to the output manifold. The oxygen source is arranged in flow communication with the input manifold, and a needle valve is positioned in flow control relation to each of the conduits so as to control the flow of oxygen from the input manifold to the output manifold. A plurality of solenoid valves, each having a first fully closed state corresponding to a preselected level of physical activity of the person and a second, fully open state corresponding to another preselected level of physical activity of the person, are positioned in flow control relation to all but one of the conduits. Sensors for monitoring the level of physical activity of the person are provided, along with a control system that is responsive to the monitored level of physical activity, for switching the solenoids between the first state and the second state. A method for supplying supplemental oxygen to a person according to the level of physical activity under taken by that person is also provided.

摘要: A respiration system including a carbon dioxide absorber, wherein any water located in the exhaled gases, or present in the system due to leakage, is removed from the system before the exhaled gases reach the carbon dioxide absorber. The respiration system includes a supply of pressurized breathable gas connected to a first expansion chamber. A mouthpiece is provided for passing breathable gas to, and receiving exhaled gas from the user. The mouthpiece has an inlet and an outlet wherein the outlet is connected to the first expansion chamber. Means is provided for mixing the exhaled gas within the first expansion chamber with breathable gas from the breathable-gas supply. Water is removed from the exhaled gas in the first expansion chamber. An inhalation tube connects the first expansion chamber and the inlet of the mouthpiece. The inhalation tube provides communication of the gas mixture of the first expansion chamber and the mouthpiece. Means is provided for absorbing at least a portion of the carbon dioxide from the exhaled gases. The absorbing means is located along the inhalation tube between the first expansion chamber and the mouthpiece. A portion of the breathable gas from the breathable-gas supply is introduced to the inhalation tube between the absorbing means and the mouthpiece to compensate for any gas-flow resistance created by the absorbing means during high demand inhalation by the user.

摘要: A midget respirator gas tank apparatus comprising a plurality of small gas tanks each including a pin-penetrable position. The gas tanks are removably mounted in holders with the pin-penetrable position held in a gastight space. A pressure regulator is connected to the holders for communication through gas passages. A pin mechanism is supported in a gas-tight state in one of the holders for perforating one of the gas tanks at the pin-penetrable position. A piston drive pin mechanism is supported in the other holder for perforating the other gas tank under pressure of a respirable gas jetting out the gas tank perforated by the first-mentioned pin mechanism. The pressure regulator regulates the pressure of the respirable gs and supplies the pressure-regulated gas to a mouthpiece.
