摘要： The invention relates to stable prolonged release vitamin C formulation, which is free of any added stabilizer and exhibits prolonged release of the active. The formulation is comprised of at least one hydrophobic non-polymeric excipient and hydrophilic release controlling agent along with at least one excipient. The invention also relates to the process for preparation, wherein the active may be treated with hydrophobic release controlling agent, followed by aqueous granulation with hydrophilic release controlling agent. The granules can be converted into compressible dosage forms like tablets or filled in capsules or sachets. The formulation is stable and releases more than 85% of vitamin C over a period of 8 to 24 hours. The formulation can be suitably orally administered to the subjects in need thereof, for maintaining effective levels of vitamin C over prolonged time.

The selected flavonoids provide various health benefits, including stimulating naturally occurring enzymes in the consumer's body. One or more aldehyde reducing enzymes, one or more glucose reducing enzymes and/or one or more alcohol reducing enzymes may be added to the sweetener additive to supplement naturally occurring enzymes in the consumer's body to reduce the deleterious effects of aldehydes, glucose and/or alcohol on the consumer. The flavonoids will also stimulate the added enzymes.

摘要： A method to prepare a therapeutic balm is disclosed. A first phase solution is prepared in an oak barrel using a grain neutral spirit. The first phase is mixed for 10 minutes per day for a month to prepare a second phase solution. The second phase solution is filtered at least twice to prepare a filtrate. The filtrate and third phase components are mixed to prepare a third phase solution. The third phase solution is mixed with a distilled wine liquor to prepare a fourth phase solution. The fourth phase solution is mixed at least twice a day for a month to prepare a fifth phase solution. The fifth phase solution is mixed with cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, and raspberry juice to prepare a sixth phase solution. The sixth phase solution is stored in a ceramic bottle for a least six months at room temperature to prepare a therapeutic balm.

摘要： The present invention provides novel compositions for suppressing or improving hair loss, and compositions for suppressing or improving graying. More specifically, it provides agents that stabilize type XVII collagen expression, preferably agents that suppress the degradation of type XVII collagen by ELANE inhibitors and such, and compositions comprising a DNA repair-promoting agent or a DNA damage-suppressing agent as an active ingredient. Advantageous suppressive effects of hair loss and graying can be obtained when a composition comprising as an active ingredient a suppressive agent of type XVII collagen degradation such as an ELANE inhibitor is administered to a mammal. For the ELANE inhibitors, suppressive agents of type XVII collagen degradation and DNA repair-promoting agents, low-molecular compounds, polypeptides, proteins, antibodies, or nucleic acid medicine such as antisense oligos or siRNAs may be used. A method of screening for effective substances for suppression of hair loss and graying is also provided.
