    摘要： Filter and replaceable filter leaf apparatus are provided. The filter includes a housing defining a cavity having fluid inlet and outlet ports and a lid member with a manifold coupled to the outlet port and being adapted to conduct a fluid flow between the outlet port and a plurality of attachment areas. Replaceable filter leafs are selectively movable through an opening into the housing cavity and attachable with the manifold at the plurality of attachment areas. The replaceable filter leafs include a filter envelope consisting of a filter panel, a nozzle member on the filter panel and defining a passageway adjacent an opening in the filter envelope for conducting fluids therethrough. The nozzle member is selectively attachable onto the manifold of the polishing filter apparatus at any one of the plurality of attachment areas.

    摘要： Polishing filter and replaceable filter leaf apparatus are provided. The polishing filter includes a housing defining a cavity having fluid inlet and outlet ports and a lid member with a manifold coupled to the outlet port and being adapted to conduct a fluid flow between the outlet port and a plurality of attachment areas. Replaceable filter leafs are selectively movable through an opening into the housing cavity and attachable with the manifold at the plurality of attachment areas. The replaceable filter leafs include a filter envelope consisting of a single substantially rectangular filter panel, a nozzle member on the filter panel and defining a passageway adjacent an opening in the filter envelope for conducting fluids therethrough, and a porous grid member contained within the filter envelope. The nozzle member is selectively attachable onto the manifold of the polishing filter apparatus at one of the plurality of attachment areas. In one form, the filter envelope includes a folded rectangular filter panel with the nozzle member disposed at an outer edge thereof. In another embodiment, the nozzle member is located at a crease line formed in the filter panel. In yet another, a pair of filter panels are connected at their edges with the nozzle member located along a selected edge as desired. The filter leaf apparatus are installed onto the manifold along attachment axes extending through the housing opening.

A plurality of vane-shapedfilter elements D are secured to a common shaft F so that when the latter is rotated, portions of the solvent present in the chamber B are subjected to centrifugal motion and (by reaction against the chamber wall) centripetal motion, whereby the elements D are cleaned of accumulated dirt. The vane-to-housing separation 100 increases circumferentially. As described, the filter elements are similar to those of Specification 1181273 and the device operates similarly. As shaft F rotates (after filtration), the solvent is urged outwardly (arrows V, T) into space 100 until it meets baffle plate 112, which is axially longer than the elements D and so directs solvent radially inwards, arrows U (Fig. 1, not shown). It may be used as a dry-cleaning machine filter.

    摘要： In a housing (1), a hollow shaft (3) is located for rotation, driven by a motor (5). Rigidly attached to the shaft (3) is a pressure vessel (6). Fitted to the shaft (3) inside the vessel (6) is a filter comprising a number of tube-shaped filter elements (9). The liquid to be filtered is fed into an upper chamber (19) of the shaft (3) via an inlet ring (18), and flows through transverse holes (20) into the vessel (6). After passing through the filter (9), the purified liquid is discharged via holes (10) in the hollow shaft (3) through an outlet ring (12). To clean the filter the residual liquid in the vessel (6) is pressed out through the filter with compressed air. Subsequently the deposit adhering to the filter tubes (9) is flung off by rotating the shaft (3) and propelled to the bottom of the vessel by feeding compressed air or clean oil to cleaning nozzles (38). An outlet ring (7) is raised slightly and the deposit at the vessel wall is dried by centrifuging. After opening the ring (7) completely, the dried deposit is flung out through the gap between ring (7) and the vessel base (8).
