    摘要: A filter arrangement has a first body member with a first axial front surface and a first radial sealing surface, a second body member with a second axial front surface and a second radial sealing surface, a contact portion and an elastic contact element. The first and second body members complementarily couple together with a connecting device. In a coupled state, the contact portion and the elastic contact element are axially compressed between the first and second axial front surface. The second radial sealing surface has a groove housing a first sealing element. When brought into the coupled state, the first radial sealing surface at least partially covers the groove of the second radial sealing surface before the contact portion and elastic contact element are at least partially axially compressed between the first and second axial front surface. When coupled, the first radial sealing surface completely covering the groove.

    摘要: An apparatus, system, and method for removing sediment from water is disclosed. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus includes a tubular filter assembly comprising a support member; and a filtratable element surrounding the support member, the filtratable element comprising a backing mesh; and a fibrous batting. A system for removing sediment from water is disclosed. According to one embodiment, the system includes a filter chamber to receive a liquid having suspended particles therein; at least one filtration cartridge housed within the filter chamber, wherein the filtration cartridge comprises at least one elongated filtratable element, each filtratable element comprising a support member, and a filtratable media adapted to surround the inner core. A method for removing sediment from water is disclosed. According to one embodiment, the method for removing suspended particles from a liquid includes (1) receiving liquid containing suspended particles into a filter chamber, wherein the filter chamber comprises an inlet and outlet positioned to create pressure differential sufficient to drive the liquid through the filter chamber; (2) filtering the suspending particles from the liquid through at least one elongated filtratable element; and (3) discharging the filtered liquid.

    摘要: A filter and replaceable filter leaf apparatus are provided. The filter includes a housing defining a cavity having fluid inlet and outlet ports and a lid member with a manifold coupled to the outlet port and being adapted to conduct a fluid flow between the outlet port and a plurality of attachment areas. Replaceable filter leafs are selectively movable through an opening into the housing cavity and attachable with the manifold at the plurality of attachment areas. The replaceable filter leafs include a filter envelope consisting of a single substantially rectangular filter panel, a nozzle member on the filter panel and defining a passageway adjacent an opening in the filter envelope for conducting fluids therethrough, and a porous grid member contained within the filter envelope. The nozzle member is selectively attachable onto the manifold of the polishing filter apparatus at one of the plurality of attachment areas. In one form, the filter envelope includes a folded rectangular filter panel with the nozzle member disposed at an outer edge thereof. In another embodiment, the nozzle member is located at a crease line formed in the filter panel. In yet another, a pair of filter panels are connected at their edges with the nozzle member located along a selected edge as desired. The filter leaf apparatus are installed onto the manifold along attachment axes extending through the housing opening.

    摘要: A filtration system for storm drain collection boxes includes a helical coil frame, open at both ends, which coil frame is attached at an exit end to a vertical exit side wall of the collection box with the exit end aligned with a collection box outlet opening. The opposite, inlet end of the coil frame is suspended from a ceiling of the collection box, and a filter fabric "sock", which is also open at both ends, is positioned surrounding the coil frame. The inlet end of the coil frame is positioned at a level below the ceiling of the collection box. The filter sock normally filters out silt, sediment and solid materials from storm water run-off before the water enters the storm drainage system but the open inlet end of the coil frame and sock acts as an overflow during flooding conditions to permit storm water to bypass the filtration provided by the filter sock while still filtering out solid materials via a wide mesh screen.
