    摘要: An automatically cleanable milk filter includes a cylindrical housing with an outer wall, a first end with a first liquid connection, and above a second end with a second liquid connection. A concentric cylindrical filter part and a cylindrical core placed concentrically within the filter part are accommodated in the housing. The filter part includes wire having a tapered cross-sectional profile in a spiral shape or as a series of parallel rings or rods, and a frame for keeping them spaced apart, thereby forming a plurality of filter openings. The filter part divides the filter volume into a first volume part which is directly connected to the first liquid connection, and a second volume part which is directly connected to the second liquid connection. The second volume part includes a cylindrical part, as well as a top part which narrows at a transition to the second liquid connection.

    摘要: A screen intake has a central body with two screens attached on either end. Each of the screens has an interior that communicates with a hollow of the body via flow modifiers. These flow modifiers include one or more pipes disposed in the interior of the screens and through passages in ends of the body. A flow control support device disposed within the body supports the body's sidewall and divides the hollow into at least two portions—each communicating with flow from one of the flow modifiers. The device can include one or more plates disposed adjacent one another within the internal hollow with a peripheral edge attached to an inside of the body's sidewall. At least one of the one or more plates can be solid, or one or more of the plates can define openings therein allowing passage of at least some fluid therethrough.

    摘要: A stormwater treatment system includes water treatment media that defines a helical flow path within a conduit. The water treatment media may include a plurality of helical water treatment media components that are constructed and arranged to seal against an inside surface of the conduit. The individual helical water treatment media components may be installed in situ within the conduit when the conduit is positioned within a chamber having an access opening, and periodically removed and replaced by passing the components to the access opening. The components further may have a flexible frame, which allows the water treatment media to dynamically adjust to swelling of the filtration media and other forces that may occur during use. The performance of the system may be adjusted by adjusting the helical pitch of the helical water treatment media components.

    摘要: The present invention provides a filter, which includes an enclosure (10) and a filter core (20) mounted inside the enclosure (10). The filter core (20) includes a support (22) and a filtering element (24) entangled with the support (22). The enclosure (10) is of a spherical form and includes: a main body (12), an inlet passage (14) mounted to an upper portion of the main body (12), an outlet passage (16) mounted to a lower portion of the main body (12), and a ventilation tube (18) mounted to a top of the main body (12). The filtering element (24) is set in a spherically-shaped spiral so that the filter core (20) has reduced filtering areas at a top and a bottom ends thereof and an enlarged filtering area at a middle portion. The present invention helps extend the lifespan of the filter. The filter also has a function of gas/liquid separation. In an application the filter to the field of manufacture of liquid crystal displays, the times of cleaning and time period of dipping for cleansing the filter can be reduced to enhance the efficiency of product switching.

    摘要: A rod-based well screen is formed in place on a perforated pipe base by wrapping wire around the pipe base and a plurality of rods located around the outside of the pipe. The wire is welded sequentially to each individual rod as it is wrapped around the pipe. The welding and ground electrodes engage the wire and the rods respectively. The rod engaging ground electrode is positioned a short distance ahead of the wire being wrapped around the rods and the pipe base. The ground electrode includes a plurality of contacts. Each contact is mounted to pivot toward and away from a rod. Springs urge each contact toward a rod to hold the rod against the outside surface of the pipe base and to maintain good electrical contact between the contact and the rod. Each contact has a groove to guide the rod into position for welding to the wire.

The flat wire is formed into a generally cylindrical helix defined by successive loops of wire stacked adjacent to one another. For any two successive wire loops, the long sides of the wire loop are set at a predetermined distance from the long side of an adjacent wire loop. Additionally, the short sides of successive wire loops are substantially aligned.
