摘要: A liquid containing exosomes is filtered through a first filter that has a hole diameter that passes the exosomes and blocks cells, and is then stored in a first storage unit (rough filtration step). Next, pressure is applied to the inside of the first storage unit to pump the liquid to a pre-filtration chamber in a second filter that blocks the exosomes so that water in the liquid is filtered out into a post-filtration chamber. The exosome-containing liquid that was not filtered out is returned to the first storage unit, thereby increasing the exosome concentration in the liquid for extraction (concentration step). The exosome-containing concentrate in the first storage unit is then filtered through a third filter having a hole diameter that passes the exosomes and blocks bacteria, and is sent to a recovery unit (sterilization filtration step).

摘要: A filter assembly and method of filtering a fluid containing particulates is provided having a filter element mounted on a horizontal mandrel, whereby the filter element and mandrel are rotatable within a housing during a self-cleaning step, wherein the filter element is immersed and agitated in a cleaning liquid followed by high speed rotation while a rinsing liquid is delivered to the core of the filter element. An ultrasonic transducer in the housing may be activated while the filter element is immersed in the cleaning liquid to assist in removing accumulated particulates from the filter element.

摘要: The present invention is related to a method and system for cleaning a media support structure in a filter cell in a liquid filter system, wherein a cleaning solution does not significantly enter a filter media zone. The method comprises supplying a cleaning solution to a filter cell to a level sufficient to submerge the media support structure, but not to significantly enter the filter media zone. Additionally, the cleaning solution level is monitored to ensure the cleaning solution does not significantly enter the filter media zone. Alternatively, the cleaning solution may be continuously recirculated and reintroduced to the filter cell during the cleaning operation.

摘要: The invention relates to a filter device (1) for purifying polluted liquids, especially waster water, said device consisting of a plurality of interspaced filter elements (4) which form filter modules (3) and are rotatably arranged, in a circular or polygonal manner, in a container (2) containing the untreated liquid. Said filter modules (3) arranged in a circular or polygonal manner form a cavity (14) which is connected to the container (2) by means of a suction opening (12). A cleaning device for cleaning the filter elements (4) by means of purging air is arranged on and/or in the cavity (14). The invention also relates to a method for cleaning filter elements (4) pertaining to a filter device (1). According to said method, rotating filter elements (4) are cleaned by means of purging air during the operation of the filter device. To this end, the filter elements (4) are rotatably arranged in an interspaced and circular or polygonal manner, forming a cavity (14), in a container (2) containing the untreated liquid.

摘要: Colloidal matter is removed from a fluid flow by first adsorbing a coagulant onto the surface of a finely divided filter media, and thereafter passing a colloid-containing fluid through the filter media. The adsorbing of coagulant is accomplished with the filter off-line, and it is returned on-line for filtering of the fluid. After the coagulant is adsorbed onto the filter media, it is not necessary to continue feeding coagulant during on-line operation, as the adsorbed coagulant captures the colloidal matter in the fluid and retains it on the surface of the filter media. The captured colloidal matter is removed during back washing of the filter media.

摘要: Filter pads, which are made inherently stable by binders and by removal of the binders can be converted in packings to be maintained under substantially constant surface pressure between rigid filter brackets, are produced first as molded bodies from a suspension of filter aids in liquid by depositing granular, fibrous, or fiber-containing filter aids or mixtures of those filter aids in a casting mold, there being used high rates of flow while avoiding turbulences, and adding binders to the suspension so that the molded body can be stabilized by activation of the binder while drying. It is possible in this process also to manufacture multi-layered filter pads, it having been surprisingly found in those multi-layered filter pads that the layer assembly is kept intact during the filtration even in the filter packing that no longer contains binders. The filter pads or the filter packings produced therefrom according to the invention can, when used, and after reflushing and regeneration operations, finally be utilized, after being replaced, as filter aids in the deposit filtration process.
