Abstract: [Object] To provide a method for isolating and purifying a minute useful substance. [Solution] Disclosed is a method for isolating and purifying a minute useful substance. The method includes filtering a liquid containing a minute useful substance through a hollow fiber membrane. The hollow fiber membrane has an inner diameter of 0.2 mm to 1.4 mm and a molecular weight cut-off of 100000 to 1000000. The filtering includes a first filtration process of press-fitting the liquid containing the minute useful substance from a first opening on one end side of the hollow fiber membrane and filtering the liquid to separate the liquid into a permeate and a first concentrate, and a second filtration process of press-fitting the first concentrate from a second opening on the other end side of the hollow fiber membrane and filtering the first concentrate to separate the first concentrate into a permeate and a second concentrate. A concentrate is produced in which a concentration of the minute useful substance is increased by filtration in which the first filtration process and the second filtration process are alternately performed a plurality of times at a membrane surface velocity of 0.3 m/sec to 2 m/sec.

A gasket assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention is a gasket assembly for a fuel cell membrane humidifier comprising a mid-case, a cap fastened to the mid-case, and at least one cartridge disposed in the mid-case and accommodating a plurality of hollow fiber membranes, and comprises: a sub-case formed in a shape surrounding an end of the cartridge and having a first hole into which the end of the cartridge is inserted; and a gasket including a body member having a second hole into which the sub-case is inserted, a packing part formed at one end of the body member and including a protruding member in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the sub-case inserted into the second hole to prevent a fluid in the mid-case from flowing toward the cap, and an edge part formed at the other end of the body member and formed in a space formed by a groove formed at the end of the mid-case and the end of the cap.

A first outer end cap device is coupled with the first inner end cap device; the first outer end cap device has a first port and a second port, where the first port is fluidly separate from the second port, and the first port is fluidly coupled with the inner port.

Abstract: Systems and methods using: a membrane unit to treat fluids recovered from an oil and gas well are provided. The membrane unit may include a membrane having a porous substrate at. least partially coated with graphene oxide, making the membrane hydrophilic. The membrane separates water from other components within a fluid stream. The membrane unit may include an inlet to receive a fluid stream into the membrane unit. The fluid stream may be pretreated prior to reaching the membrane unit The membrane unit may also include a first outlet in fluid communication with one side of the membrane and a second outlet in fluid communication with the opposite side of the membrane.

According to the water purifier filter cartridge of simple structure of the present utility model, the filter cartridge structure is simplified, the cost is lowered, connection of a water path of the filter cartridge in a water purifier is more convenient, mounting errors and omissions are reduced, the assembling efficiency is improved, and the structure of the water purifier filter cartridge is further improved.

Abstract: Provided is a fuel cell membrane humidifier in which humidification efficiency is improved by preventing differential pressure loss in a humidification module. The fuel cell membrane humidifier performs moisture exchange between a first fluid and a second fluid and includes a mid-case, a second fluid inlet through which the second fluid is introduced into the mid-case, a second fluid outlet through which the second fluid is discharged to outside, a partition wall configured to divide an inner space of the mid-case into a first space and a second space, and at least one cartridge located in the mid-case and configured to accommodate a plurality of hollow fiber membranes therein. A cross-sectional area of the second fluid inlet is equal to or greater than a total area of windows constituting a first mesh hole unit and arranged in a mesh shape in the at least one cartridge for fluid communication with the first space.
