摘要： Devices, guards and shields and methods for both protecting sprinkler heads and preventing unwanted vegetation from growing adjacent to the sprinkler heads, which can be applied to most if not all sprinklers on the market. The novel devices, guards and shields can be formed from a two part (upper and bottom part sections) forming a housing with ring shape housing dry and/or liquid herbicides. The ring shape can have a large center hole for allowing the ring shape to be positioned over and about the sprinkler head. The ring shaped housing includes drainage openings through the top and bottom half sections for allowing water from the sprinkler or rain water to pass therethrough and onto a replaceable herbicide which can kill unwanted vegetation such as grass, weeds, roots, trees, from growing adjacent to the sprinkler head.

摘要： A system and method for coating an expandable member of a medical device comprising a support structure to support the expandable member and a dispenser positioned with at least one outlet proximate a surface of an expandable member. A drive assembly establishes relative movement between the at least one outlet and the surface of the expandable member to apply fluid on the surface of the expandable member along a coating path. A guide maintains a substantially fixed distance between the at least one outlet and the surface of the expandable member during relative movement therebetween by displacing the expandable member relative to the at least one outlet.

摘要： A fluid applicator for surfaces combining a spray-gun and dynamically displacable roller-brushes that features an extension wand formed from a plurality of coupled together segments. Each of the segments include a hollow and rigid tubular body completely encasing a flexible high pressure fluid hose. The tubular body includes a coupler connected at each end thereof, with the fluid hose extending between the couplers. Each coupler includes a large bore region having a plurality of threads. Adjacent segments are coupled together by a threaded barrel adapted to threadably engage adjacent large bore regions. Disposed opposite to the large bore regions of each coupler is a small bore region which has a plurality of threads which are adapted to engage the a threaded attachments associated with conventional high pressure fluid hoses. In this fashion, a fluid tight seal is formed between opposed ends of each segment.

摘要： A fluid applicator for surfaces combining a spray-gun with dynamically displacable roller-brushes. The angle of a fluid stream exiting the nozzle is allowed to vary with respect to the longitudinal axis of the roller-brushes to more accurately control over-spray, especially with surfaces in close proximity with one another. The roller-brush applicator includes a frame having first and second opposed ends, with a clamp, attached to the first end, for attaching the frame proximate to the nozzle, and a cross-member pivotally mounted to the second end to rotate about a pivot axis. The cross-member preferably includes a pair of spaced-apart roller-brushes, each of which is rotatably mounted to a shaft. The shafts extend parallel to, and are disposed on opposite sides of, the pivot axis. The nozzle defines a flow path extending between the spaced-apart roller-brushes, transverse to the pivot axis.

摘要： The lawn sprinkler device comprises a manually operative combination of a container, sprinkler head and lid components. The container and lid are manually movable between a closed position defining a closed volume in the container and an open position that provides access to the closed volume. The container and lid are mounted within the ground so that the closed volume extends downwardly from the level of the lawn area and in the open position access to the closed volume is available generally at the level of the lawn area. The sprinkler head component includes a hose coupling inlet for manual connection by a user with an above-ground hose and an outlet structure for discharging water under pressure in a desired pattern on the lawn area. The sprinkler head is mounted with respect to the container and lid for manual movement between a storage position within the closed volume of the container and an operative position which is in elevated relation to the closed volume. In the operative position the sprinkler head can be manually connected to the above-ground hose containing a source of water under pressure so that water will discharge from the outlet in a desired pattern on the lawn area.

摘要： A nozzle assembly for being received on an end of a spray gun is provided in which there is a nozzle holder member having a through passage which is engageable with an end of the spray gun and which carries a nozzle member rotatingly therein, the nozzle member including a non-circular orifice. An actuating lever engages the nozzle member and has a manual engagement area graspable by a user such that the nozzle orifice can be rotated within the nozzle holder member upon rotation of the actuating lever. The actuating lever provides a visual indicator of the position of the nozzle orifice.

摘要： There is disclosed an improved spray tip for airless spraying of liquids in which the spray orifice is mounted in a rotatable turret member which is captured in a subassembly of a plastic spray guard and a tubular metal housing. The housing has a longitudinal through passageway which receives a floating piston seal member that has a forward, cylindrically concave face which is urged into a tight seal against the rotatable turret member by the liquid pressure which acts on the upstream face of the floating piston seal member. The floating piston seal member is sealed in the longitudinal through passageway by an annular seal which also restrains the turret member against rotation when the liquid pressure is released, thereby freely permitting substitution of spray orifices by interchanging of turret members. The turret member includes a handle with a dependent prong which is received through a slotted aperture of the spray guard into an internal cavity of the spray guard body having one side wall with shoulders which provide abutment stops for the turret member, thereby aligning its transverse bore with the longitudinal passageway through the housing.
