    摘要: The present disclosure provides a sound absorbing material and a preparation method thereof. The sound absorbing material includes a porous powder core and an adhesive coating the porous powder core. A porous powder dispersion solution and an adhesive dispersion solution are simultaneously subjected to spray granulation via a nozzle having an inner ring nozzle and an outer ring nozzle, so that the porous particles having a structure including a porous powder core and an adhesive coating the porous powder core are formed. The porous particles prepared by the method of the present disclosure when serving as a sound absorbing material of a sounding device have high strength and is not easy to be broken. Moreover, a total amount of the adhesive used in the method of the present disclosure is less than that in the conventional method, so that cost is effectively saved.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a particulate feeding apparatus for applying particulate, such as super-absorbent materials, to a substrate, such as a fibrous web. The apparatus may include a feeder tube for the powder and a rotary gate valve, including one or more holes, which may then intermittently feed particulate to an eductor or venturi nozzle which is located in an air stream. The rotary valve provides an intermittent supply of particulate to a relatively low pressure zone at the nozzle formed by the venturi action of the passing air stream and the particulate may be distributed precisely where desired. A process for delivering powder to a substrate in precise amounts and distribution patterns is also disclosed.

    摘要: An apparatus for the gunning of a material is provided having a nozzle with an inner passage having an inlet end into which a wetted material is to be introduced and an outlet end from which the material is to be sprayed. An outer passage is disposed around the inner passage and in fluid communication therewith and has an inlet end for introducing a gas to be passed through the outer passage and impinged on the wetted material passing through the inner passage. Also provided is an apparatus for the gunning of a material having a material delivery hose for providing a material. A water inlet in fluid communication with the material delivery hose provides water to wet the material and a nozzle outputs the wetted material. A mixing chamber is disposed intermediate and in fluid communication with the material delivery hose and the nozzle and has at least one inlet for introducing a mixing gas.

    摘要: A process and an apparatus for the production of a polyurethane mixture is described. The apparatus comprises a high-pressure mixing device provided with a mixing chamber opening onto a side of a discharge duct. An elongated cleaning member is reciprocable inside the duct and is provided with a longitudinal channel for feeding a fluidized reinforcing material, for example reinforcing fibers or a reinforcing material in powder or granulate form, to be blended with the polyurethane mixture flowing into the discharge duct. The feeding channel for the reinforcing material terminates at the front end of the cleaning member, at a point where the flow of reinforcing material impinges the polyurethane mixture which emerges from the mixing chamber under high turbulence conditions. Blowing nozzles are provided to generate air jets for repeatedly deviating the flow of blended polyurethane mixture and reinforcing material flowing out from the discharge duct.

    摘要: A particulate spray nozzle is disclosed having an internal mixing chamber with a liquid spray orifice on one side and a liquid and particulate discharge bore opening the opposite side to ambience. A liquid supply passage upstream of the orifice contains a disc-like diffuser with the plane of the disc parallel to and aligned with the longitudinal axis of the orifice. The diffuser is spaced axially from the orifice and the orifice is spaced axially from the discharge bore for causing a high pressure liquid to be discharged from the orifice in the form of a narrow gradually diverging spray which picks up particulate material in the mixing chamber and propels it out of the discharge bore by uniformly engaging only the outer most portion of the discharge bore. The apparatus can function as an abrasive blasting assembly or a chemical foaming gun. A method of discharging particulate materials, which may be either solid or liquid, is also disclosed.

Wear of narrow side walls of the mouthpiece is minimized by locating the solid particle inlet completely within the lateral boundaries of the liquid jet formed within the mouthpiece and by arranging the liquid nozzle so that most, if not all, of the liquid jet is spaced from the narrow side walls. Wear of the narrow side walls is also minimized by providing auxiliary liquid jets along the narrow side walls to restrict engagement of solid particles therewith.

    摘要: According to an embodiment, a method of applying loose-fill insulation within a cavity is provided. The method includes blowing loose-fill insulation particles into a cavity of a structure to install the loose-fill insulation within the cavity and thereby insulate the structure. The method also includes applying water (e.g., water mist) to the loose-fill insulation particles so that a moisture content of the installed loose-fill insulation is between about 2% and 20%. The water aids in retaining the loose-fill insulation particles within the cavity without requiring the use of an enclosure member that encloses the cavity and the loose-fill insulation is substantially free of a water soluble adhesive material that adheres the loose-fill insulation particles together within the cavity.
