Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for preparing homogeneous dispersions of fluidizable bulk materials, wherein, in a first step, fluidizable bulk materials are blended with liquid to produce a raw dispersion and, in a second step, the raw dispersion is conveyed through a continuous enclosed dispersing apparatus by means of a forced-conveyance apparatus.
Abstract:
Process for the filling of a piston-cylinder unit, for example a shock absorber, with compressed gas and for closing the gas chamber of the piston-cylinder unit with a sealing element in the form of a base. The piston-cylinder unit is placed in an apparatus which apparatus can be connected to a compressed gas source from which the gas chamber is filled. The base is inserted by the apparatus into the open end of the piston-cylinder unit, after which the piston-cylinder unit, now under pressure and closed off by the base, is closed by, the process of welding.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a basecoat/clearcoat process in which the basecoat composition used contains as a film former a polyurethane resin which can be prepared by preparing an intermediate from(A) a mixture obtained from 10 to 90 mol % of linear polyether diols and 90 to 10 mol % of polyester diols,(B) diisocyanates,(C) compounds which contain two groups reactive toward isocyanate groups, at least some of these compounds having at least one group capable of forming anions, and the free isocyanate groups of the said intermediate are then reacted with(D) polyols containing at least three hydroxyl groups, and the reaction product obtained in this manner is transferred into an aqueous base, whereina) the polyester diol is prepared from diols and an acid component which consists of 60 to 100% by weight of aliphatic dicarboxylic acids of more than 18 carbon atoms and of 40 to 0% by weight of aliphatic dicarboxylic acids of 2 to 18 carbon atoms,b) the equivalent ratio of the NCO groups to the total of the OH groups of (A) and the reactive groups of (C) is 2:1 to 1.05:1 andc) the equivalent of the OH groups of the component (D) to the NCO groups of the intermediate is 0.5:1 to 4:1.
Abstract:
A fluidized bed combustion system that can be operated or controlled under pressure is provided. To eliminate the erosion or abrasion to which heat exchangers located in a fluidized bed combustion chamber are subjected due to the flue dust contained in the flue gas, no thermal withdrawal or exchange takes place in the combustion chamber of the inventive fluidized bed combustion system, although the reaction conditions remain the same. At least one controllable line for returning to the combustion chamber part of the flue gas, if necessary cooled by heat exchangers variously arranged outside the combustion chamber, branches off from the flue gas line downstream of a dust separator that is disposed in the flue gas line downstream of the combustion chamber. The main area of application is the production of electrical energy and heat for the generation of steam, as process heat, or as heat for a remote site, by means of a fluidized bed combustion system that can be operated or controlled under pressure.
Abstract:
An electrically conductive flooring and method for constructing same upon an existing flooring, which comprises sequential layers of: a nonwoven base layer; an electrically conductive coating layer; an electrically conductive adhesive layer; and an antistatic or electrically conductive top layer; a copper band is optionally located within the coating layer and/or adhesive layer.
Abstract:
Compositions for the stabilization of polyvinylchloride comprising blends or tri- and tetrathiophosphoric acid esters and at least one polyvinylchloride stabilizer of the type Me(II)-carboxylate and/or Me(II)-phenolate as well as the polyvinylchloride stabilized therewith.
Abstract:
An improved process for preparing bis-(trimethylsilyl-)urea which comprises reacting urea with hexamethyldisilazane in the presence of a catalytic amount of salts selected from the class consisting of ammonia, basic amine comounds and quaternary ammonium hydroxides.
Abstract:
A rotary tablet press, having a rotor, which is driveable about a vertical axis of rotation and has a die plate with die bores for producing tablets inside the die bores by means of punch pairs, having at least one filling station, having at least one pressing station, and having at least one tablet outlet for removing the produced tablets out of the rotary tablet press, with which is associated a discharging device, by way of which tablets, in dependence on a control signal, can be supplied as single tablets to a first channel or as a tablet stream to a second channel in the tablet outlet. In order to enable increased production output with improved adherence to the demands on the tablets, a weighing device with a weighing cell is incorporated into the tablet outlet, tablets from the first channel being suppliable to the weighing device by means of a supply channel.
Abstract:
A steering wheel arrangement for a motor vehicle is provided including a steering wheel, which can be arranged in a rotationally displaceable manner in the motor vehicle, a stationary module which defines a steering axle, whereon the steering wheel is rotationally mounted about the steering axle, and first actuation elements which are arranged on the steering wheel in order to actuate functional elements of the motor vehicle which are arranged in or on the motor vehicle. The arrangement also includes at least one second actuation element which is arranged on the stationary module and which is used to actuate functional elements of the motor vehicle which can be arranged in or on the motor vehicle. According to one form of the invention, a central electronic control element is arranged in the steering wheel, which is fitted in order to control first actuation elements and also in order to control at least one second actuation element. The electronic control element can communicate with a drive-sided electronic element, preferably via a at least one multiplex-interface.
