    摘要: This invention is a manually operated tube bending machine with a power drive mechanism that is adjustably set to a desired bend speed. The bending machine includes a bending die, a counter die and a rotating hook die to form a desired bend into a tube or pipe. The tube bender includes a drive wheel with ratchet teeth around its perimeter. A drive pin grips one of the ratchet teeth. The drive pin is secured to a lever and torque bar. During each bending stroke, the lever and torque bar incrementally rotate the drive wheel a desired amount. The rotation of the drive wheel and hook die draw the tube through the bending and counter dies to bend the tube. An anti-spring back mechanism holds the position of the drive wheel while the power drive mechanism is advanced to grip the next ratchet tooth of the drive wheel.

    摘要: Repeatable bending angle apparatus incorporated into existing manually or pneumatically operated metal stock bending apparatus permits making a number of successive bends of metal stock having similar characteristics. A disk is rotatably mounted below the bending apparatus bending arm with its center located at the bending arm axis. The disk can be rotated and locked at any bending angle. In a first embodiment, using manual bending power, an upward extension from the disk into the bending arm path provides a stop for successive bends at identical angles. Second and third embodiments use pneumatic power. The second embodiment utilizes a spring loaded insert from the stop to give the operator an indication of where to stop the apparatus at the desired angle before the disk will be rotated by the bending arm bearing against the stop. In the third embodiment the stop mounts a valve with a spring loaded extension which shuts off air to a pneumatic pump which stops the bending arm at the same angle when the bending arm depresses the valve extension for successive bends of equal angles.

    摘要: A pipe bending angle indicator comprising two protractors with pivoting pointers. The protractors are mounted to stand-offs which in turn are mounted to their respective bases. The base holds the tool in the proper position. The base is held onto the conduit by means of an elastic cord. The elastic cord is stretched tightly around the conduit and secured in a notch in the clip at the stand-off. The stand-off allows the string to clear any pins, or protrusions as the bending progresses.
