The unique identifier may include a unique code and/or bar code. The carpet disposal system may have a computer system for managing the identification of the collection agent of the uniquely identified carpet at the processing plant, sorting the uniquely identified carpet, valuing the sorted carpet, and paying the identified collection agent the value of the sorted carpet.

    摘要： A method for manufacturing a recycled polycarbonate raw material for a flame retardant resin composition from discarded and/or recovered optical discs using a polycarbonate resin as a substrate material, and includes (a) a step to identify if 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane as a divalent phenol of the polycarbonate resin raw material is polymerized as the sole raw material in the polycarbonate resin as the substrate material of the discarded and/or recovered optical discs and (b) a step to remove impurities by a chemical treatment by separating only the discarded and/or recovered optical discs, wherein the polycarbonate resin is identified as polymerized by using 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane as the sole raw material. Accordingly, used optical discs using a PC resin as a substrate material and discarded optical discs as substandard articles in a manufacturing step can be reused as a raw material for a flame retardant polycarbonate resin composition by treating with a method at low cost and a low environmental load.

Characteristics of the rubber materials, such as chemical composition and/or product manufacturer, model, and manufacture date, can be identified. Identification can be performed by personnel, can be automated, or can be a combination thereof. The characteristics of the rubber material can be used to sort the rubber product. Rubber materials suitable for a particular end product can be selected for further processing, which can include size reduction, material separation, chemical and physical processes, devulcanization, or a combination thereof. Processed rubber materials can be stored or delivered to a user or manufacturing site with product specifications.
