    摘要: An apparatus for blow molding articles by preinflating a tubular parison prior to final expansion within the blow mold. The apparatus includes a clamping assembly for sealing a leading end of the extruding parison, and a specially configured mandrel tip which is axially movable against a shoulder in the extrusion head to at least partially sever the parison situated therebetween after preinflation.

    摘要: A reduced flash molding process and apparatus useful for a variety of parts, especially flat plastic panels, reduces trimming time, regrind waste, increases production speeds, reduces energy consumption, and reduces part weight. The reduction in flash is made possible by providing side members which close before molding material reaches them. Flash still occurs at the ends of the mold, but is eliminated from the sides. Because the parison can be more carefully managed during molding, the mold can be placed closer to the parison extrusion die, thereby reducing parison swell and sag and permitting more accurate filling of all areas within the mold geometry.

    摘要: To provide hollow plastic bodies, e.g. bottles, with an inscription, a sheetlike object (23), e.g. a label, is pressed at least in part against an unfinished piece (26) while still being in deformable condition. This unfinished piece (26) is then brought, together with the preliminarily attached label into a blow mould (15). In blowing the bottle (26') the label (23) is strongly pressed against the bottle wall, because the label is held by the inner wall (31) of the blow mould.

    摘要: Blow-molding molds 10 and 20 having parison shutters 31 and 32 for preventing an inflation of the parison 3 toward the outside of the molds 10 and 20 are used in a blow-molding method of the present invention. In other words, a closed space for preventing the parison 3 from inflating out of the molds 10 and 20 are formed by the parison shutters 31 and 32 and a predetermined air is secured in the parison 3 in a frame clamping step (B). In the subsequent mold clamping step (C), the pressure inside the parison 3 starts to be increased when the molds 10 and 20 press the parison 3, so that the parison 3 can be continuously in contact with the die design surface 11. Accordingly, since the parison 3 can be uniformly contracted by cooling, molding failure such as streaks and uneven pattern transfer can be avoided, thus obtaining a blow-molded product having good appearance.
