    摘要: A foam cushion pad formation assembly that includes a conveyance assembly having at least one moving conveyor component presenting a pad shape formation surface, which surface is convoluted and arranged to shape sealed enclosures of a pad chain received by the conveyance assembly. A separation device is provided to separate shaped pads of the pad chain received by said conveyor device. The shaped pads include convoluted surface that are formed by way of gripping projection and recesses combinations in the moving conveyor component. Embodiments include sensing for non separated pads from a downstream end of the bag chain, pad chain separation enhancement devices, and various control system including the requirement of confirmation of separation before feeding a new pad enclosure as in one containing liquid polyurethane precursor chemicals. An embodiment includes a pad chain path disruption sensor and a form feed control which implements the formation of pad enclosures free of filler material in a bridging region between the outlet end of the enclosure formation means and the conveyance assembly.

    摘要: A method is disclosed for dispensing a polyurethane mixture onto a substrate by generating a liquid mixture from reactive component resins; introducing the mixture in an inlet section of a dispensing device so as to advance it towards a planar-shaped outlet slit section, transversely to the advancement direction of the substrate; distributing the mixture along a gap chamber having a cross section diverging towards the outlet slit section; and dispensing the mixture through the outlet slit section, so as to deposit a thin, uniform film onto the substrate. Fractions of the mixture travel equal distances from the inlet section to the outlet slit section, in equal times, maintaining equal average speeds along each section having zones placed all at the same path distance either from the inlet section or from the outlet slit section.

    摘要: The invention relates to a corrugated, thermally insulated conduit for fluids, e.g. for district heating networks, wherein at least one medium pipe (2) made of plastic or metal is surrounded by a thermal insulation layer (14), consisting of a polyurethane foam for example. The corrugation (25, 26) of the outer jacket (15) made of plastic is formed such that both the corrugation valleys (25) and the corrugation peaks (26) are round, particularly circular. In addition, the corrugation is dimensioned such that the corrugation depth T lies in a range of 4.5 mm to 8 mm for a conduit outer diameter range of 63 mm to 202 mm. This shaping and dimensioning of the conduit results in very good flexibility and thus the ability to roll up the pipe for the transport thereof.
