    摘要: A duct stringer has duct walls providing a duct with a closed cross-section; and a bulkhead in the duct. The duct is adapted to transport fluid, and the bulkhead is adapted to block the flow of fluid along the duct. The bulkhead is adhered to the duct walls by one or more co-cured or co-bonded joints. The bulkhead includes a pair of bulkhead parts, each with a web and one or more flanges. The duct stringer is manufactured by positioning the mandrels end-to-end with the bulkhead parts back-to-back between them; wrapping or laying-up the duct walls around the bulkhead parts and the mandrels; co-curing or co-bonding the flanges of the bulkhead parts to the duct walls; and after the bulkhead has been adhered to the duct walls, removing the mandrels from opposite ends of the duct.

    摘要: A method of forming a corrugated fluoropolymer tube is disclosed. The method comprises the step of providing a tube comprising extruded fluoropolymer without corrugations or convolutions disposed on a mandrel. The mandrel has a first cylindrical portion and a flaring portion that extends to a second cylindrical portion, the second portion having an outer diameter which is larger than an outer diameter of the first portion. The method also includes the step of moving the tube on a longitudinal axis along the mandrel thereby forcing an outer surface of the tube into flights disposed at a pitch angle on a plurality of thread rollers which are rotating, the plurality of thread rollers adjacent to and circumferentially distributed around the flaring portion and/or second cylindrical portion of the mandrel, wherein external force is exerted on the outer surface of the tube to form corrugations having adjacent peaks and roots.

    摘要: A processing system 100 includes a heat insulating pipe 12, a temperature measuring device 19, and a control device 20. The heat insulating pipe 12 has an inner pipe and an outer pipe. An airtight space is formed between the inner pipe and the outer pipe. A fluid having a temperature lower than that of an indoor space in which the heat insulating pipe 12 is placed is flown within the inner pipe. The temperature measuring device 19 measures a temperature of a surface of the heat insulating pipe 12. The control device 20 is controls a pressure within the airtight space by controlling an exhaust device 16 configured to exhaust a gas within the airtight space based on the temperature of the surface of the heat insulating pipe 12 and a dew-point temperature calculated from a humidity and the temperature of the indoor space.

The tube may have an inner surface that defines a helical channel that may be continuous along a length of the tube such that the helical channel is continuous along a plurality of turns of the helical channel along the inner surface. The conduit may be incorporated into a cooling system of a magnetic resonance imaging device.
