摘要： The present invention is to provide a foil balloon for enabling a user to print a customized design on each of both sides, which comprises a carrier (e.g. paper) comprising a central opening, and an upper second foil and a lower first foil releasably attached onto top and bottom surfaces of the carrier respectively, wherein a valve is provided between the first and second foils and is disposed correspondingly to an inner edge of the opening, a heat sealed portion is formed around the inner edge of the opening on each of the first and second foils after heat sealing the first and second foils together with the valve being sealed by the heat sealed portions of the first and second foils, perforations is punched on each of the first and second foils at a position between the heat sealed portion and the inner edge of the opening.

摘要： A method for autogenously bonding at least two plies of tissue paper with a basis weight from 10 to 45 g/m2 comprises the steps of: laying the plies face-to-face; ultrasonically bonding the plies to each other with the help of at least one ultrasonic horn which oscillates perpendicular to the surface to the tissue paper plies. A multi-ply tissue paper produced by the method is also described.

摘要： An inflatable applique for a fabric article which may be attached to an article of clothing after it is fully manufactured comprising a top and a backing layer of vinyl which are sealing affixed to one another creating a substantially airtight enclosure, a heat-fusible layer disposed on the outside of the backing layer, and an anti-sealing treatment disposed between some or all portions the top and backing layers to prevent fusing of those portions during attachment of the applique to an article of clothing. In the method of manufacture, the top and backing layers are welded together before attachment of the enclosure to a clothing article.

摘要： A method of making a three-dimensional foam-filled applique and an apparatus for carrying out the method. A layer of synthetic plastic foam material havin an exposed surface of predetermined appearance is placed onto a support. A layer of sheet material portions of which may be light-transmissive, is superimposed upon the exposed surface of the foam material. At least one of the materials is latently adhesive. At least the layers are severed inwardly of the edges along the contour line of the desired applique. Simultaneously the layer of sheet material is pressed against the support at least along a narrow zone inwardly of the contour line and the latently adhesive material is activated to thereby adhere the sheet material in the narrow zone to the support across the layer of foam material.

ONTO THE COOPERATING COUNTERELECTRODE IS PLACED A SANDWICH COMPOSED OF A LAYER OF TEFLON LOCATED BETWEEN A LAYER OF SILICONE AND A LAYER OF MYLAR WITH THE LATTER FACING THE ASSOCIATED COUNTERELECTRODE. A LAYER OF SYNTHETIC PLASTIC FOAM AND A LAYER OF POLYVINYLCHLORIDE ARE SUPERIMPOSED AND PLACED BETWEEN THE TWO ELECTRODES. THEREUPON THE ELECTRODES ARE MOVED TOGETHER AND THE LAYER OF FOAM AND POLYVINYLCHLORIDE ARE BONDED TO ONE ANOTHER UNDER PRESSURE AND SIMULTANEOUS APPLICATION OF HEAT ALONG ZONES FORMED BY THE RAISED RIDGES AND ALONG WHICH ZONES THE FOAM COLLAPSES. THE ELECTRODES ARE THEN MOVED APART AND BETWEEN THE SANDWICH AND THE LAYER OF FOAM IS INSERTED ANOTHER LAYER OF THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL, WHEREUPON THE ELECTRODES ARE AGAIN MOVED TOGETHER AND THE NEW LAYER OF THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL IS BONDED TO THE FIRST-MENTIONED LAYER OF THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL AND THE LAYER OF FOAM ALONG THE AFOREMENTIONED ZONES, BUT PRESSURE AND HEAT ARE APPLIED FOR A BRIEFER PERIOD OF TIME AND TO A LESSER EXTENT THAN BEFORE.
