摘要： A plastic film roll includes: a convolute cardboard tube including a tubular body having a tubular body wall formed by a plurality of layers of a straight rolled cardboard sheet having a weight equal to or less than 300 gsm; a plastic film wound about the convolute cardboard tube to form a plurality of plastic film windings around the convolute cardboard tube, the plastic film windings creating a radial compression force equal to or greater than 10 bar on the tubular body wall, wherein the cardboard sheet includes a plurality of fibers, at least a majority of the fibers being substantially aligned in a tangential direction relative to the tubular body to allow the convolute cardboard tube to resist the radial compression force.

A third stent shaping segment is releasably securable to the second stent shaping segment and has a third diameter greater than the second diameter. One or more movable pins are outwardly extendable from corresponding apertures formed within the tapered segment. An actuation element is engagable with the first stent shaping segment and includes a tapered surface configured to engage the one or more movable pins and support the one or more movable pins extended from the corresponding apertures.

摘要： An apparatus for forming a pallet spacer from a one-piece blank, the one piece blank having at least a first end and a second end, a retention segment disposed between the first and second ends, the retention segment defining a retention aperture, the second end including a cut-out flange having a hinge, the apparatus comprising a base, a rotating mandrel assembly mounted on the base for wrapping the one-piece blank around itself such that the retention aperture is registered directly adjacent the cut-out flange, the rotating mandrel assembly including a selective engagement means for gripping the first end of the one-piece blank when the one-piece blank is wrapped around itself, a punch for pushing the cut-out flange into the retention aperture thereby retaining the one-piece blank in a coiled shape forming a pallet spacer and a stripper for removing the pallet spacer from the rotating mandrel assembly.

摘要： An apparatus for preparing a cylindrical corrugated article, which apparatus includes a pair of forming rolls having corrugated surfaces which are drivingly interlocked for causing rotation of the rolls in opposite directions. A sheet material is fed between the rolls to cause corrugation thereof. Grooves extend circumferentially around one of the forming rolls, and ringlike guide plates extend circumferentially around the other forming roll, which guide plates have the fore ends thereof disposed within the grooves. These guide plates thus ensure that the corrugated sheet material is coiled around the other forming roll. A discharging device then coacts with the other roll for axially removing the cylindrical corrugated article therefrom.
