摘要: A pneumatic tire has an asymmetric tread pattern. The width of an outboard shoulder main groove (3) is 3 to 4% of the tread width TW. The width of an inboard shoulder main groove (4) is 5 to 6% of TW. The width of an outboard crown main groove (5) is 6 to 7% of TW. The width of an inboard crown main groove (6) is 6 to 7% of TW. In each of the grooves (4, 5, 6), an outboard groove face's angle θ1 is more than an inboard groove face's angle θ2, wherein θ1 is 13 to 19 degrees, and θ2 is 9 to 14 degrees. In the groove (3), an outboard groove face's angle θ3 is 9 to 14 degrees, and an inboard groove face's angle θ4 is 5 to 8 degrees.

摘要: A pneumatic motorcycle tire 1 is provided with a tread pattern having an intended tire rotational direction N. The tread portion 2 is provided on each side of the tire equator C with a unit pattern 9 repeatedly arranged in the tire circumferential direction to form the tread pattern. The unit pattern 9 comprises: a first oblique groove 11 extending axially outwardly from a vicinity of the tire equator C and obliquely, while inclining to the rotational direction N; a second oblique groove 12 disposed on the toe-side in the rotational direction N of the first oblique groove 11 and extending therealong; and a narrow oblique groove 15 extending axially outwardly from the axially inner end of the first oblique groove 11 to the axially inner end of the second oblique groove 12, while inclining to the opposite direction to the rotational direction N.

摘要: A pneumatic tire is provided with a tread, a pair of sidewalls, and a pair of beads. A plurality of bending grooves are provided in an intermediate land located on the inner side of each shoulder main groove. Each of the bending grooves has one end portion opening to the shoulder main groove and the other end closed in the intermediate land. Each of the bending grooves is composed of a first tilting groove portion extending from the opening end portion to the bending portion and a second tilting groove portion extending from the bending portion to the closed end portion. The direction oriented from the opening end portion of the first tilting groove portion toward the bending portion coincides with the rotational direction, and the second tilting groove portion is bent toward the first tilting groove portion with the bending portion serving as an apex.

The groove area ratio of the center region (Cr) is from 34% to 39%, the groove area ratio of the middle regions (Mr) is from 14% to 19%, and the groove area ratio of the inner shoulder regions (Sr) is from 14% to 19%.

摘要: A pneumatic tire comprises a carcass layer, a belt layer disposed on the outer side in the tire radial direction of the carcass layer, and tread rubber disposed on the outer side in the tire radial direction of the belt layer. The belt layer is formed by laminating a pair of cross belts having belt angles with an absolute value from 10° to 45° both inclusive and mutually opposite signs, and a circumferential reinforcing layer having a belt angle within a range of ±5° relative to the tire circumferential direction. The distance (Gcc) from the tread profile to the tire inner circumferential surface along the tire equatorial plane and the distance (Gsh) from the tread edge to the tire inner circumferential surface have a relationship satisfying 1.10≤Gsh/Gcc. The groove depth (Dsh) and under-groove gauge (UDsh) of the outermost circumferential main groove have a relationship satisfying 0.20≤UDsh/Dsh.

摘要: A motorcycle tire has a unidirectional tread pattern formed by a circumferentially extending center main groove, and main oblique grooves each with a branch groove. The main oblique groove has an axially inner end inside a zero-camber ground contacting width and an axially outer end outside the zero-camber ground contacting width. The axially outer end is positioned in a range between 0% and 20% of the developed half tread width from the tread edge. The branch groove is composed of a first inclined part extending from the main oblique groove at an angle θ with respect to the tire circumferential direction, and a second inclined part extending at an angle δ less than the angle θ. When the developed half tread width is axially equally divided into five portions, the land ratio of each of the five portions is 75% to 85%.
