The display panel is configured to change illumination light from the light source apparatus into display light on a display surface. The optical member is configured to guide the display light from the display panel to a certain space. The display surface includes a first luminance area displayable at a first luminance, and a second luminance area displayable at a second luminance which is lower in luminance than the first luminance. The controller is configured to selectively display information in the first luminance area and the second luminance.

摘要： In an instrument panel, a LED backlighting device has at least one LED source, the optical axis of which corresponds to the direction in which the intensity of the emitted light is maximum. The light of the LED source is reflected onto a graphic area by a first and a second reflecting surface. The first surface defines a first cavity and is aligned with the graphic area along an illumination axis spaced apart from the optical axis, while the second surface is aligned with the LED source along the optical axis and defines a second cavity communicating with the first cavity through an aperture. The second surface is a cylindrical surface, defined by an elliptical generatrix and configured so as to block the light rays that would be directed from the LED source onto the graphic area.

The console is configured to provide contextual information to passengers. The console includes a monitor assembly that has a display screen and a notification region. The notification region includes one or more displayable icons and at least one receptacle for a communication device of a passenger. The notification region has a first section comprising an outer cover layer with a first series of masking, diffuser and illuminating layers to selectively illuminate the one or more displayable icons. The notification region has a second section comprising the outer cover layer with a second series of masking, diffuser and illuminating layers to selectively illuminate the at least one receptacle for the communication device.

摘要： In present-day passenger aircraft, fluorescent lamps in tubular form, are used as general illumination. An illumination unit for aircraft having a two-dimensional light source, an aperture which is at least partly translucent, and an attachment element. In this arrangement, the aperture is an interior fitting element of an aircraft cabin so that the entire illumination unit can be integrated in the aircraft cabin when the interior fitting element is installed. The flat design of the light source makes the installation of the light source possible in spaces of limited depth.
