摘要: Embodiments of a curved vehicle display including a display module having a display surface, a curved glass substrate disposed on the display surface having a first major surface, a second major surface having a second surface area, and a thickness in a range from 0.05 mm to 2 mm, wherein the second major surface comprises a first radius of curvature of 200 mm or greater, wherein, when the display module emits a light, the light transmitted through the glass substrate has a substantially uniform color along 75% or more of the second surface area, when viewed at a viewing angle at a distance of 0.5 meters from the second surface. Methods of forming a curved vehicle display are also disclosed.

摘要: In an instrument panel, a LED backlighting device has at least one LED source, the optical axis of which corresponds to the direction in which the intensity of the emitted light is maximum. The light of the LED source is reflected onto a graphic area by a first and a second reflecting surface. The first surface defines a first cavity and is aligned with the graphic area along an illumination axis spaced apart from the optical axis, while the second surface is aligned with the LED source along the optical axis and defines a second cavity communicating with the first cavity through an aperture. The second surface is a cylindrical surface, defined by an elliptical generatrix and configured so as to block the light rays that would be directed from the LED source onto the graphic area.

The vehicular display device has a display panel including a display surface, on which an image is displayed, and a housing, which supports the display surface; and a first analog meter including a first frame curved in a direction away from the display surface between a first end and a second end, which are aligned along a boundary line between the display surface and the housing. The display panel displays a first frame image curved in a direction opposite to the first frame. The first frame image extends from the first end to the second end.

摘要: A display device includes an image display device that includes an image display surface that emits light polarized in one direction and displays an image; and a superimposing display device that includes a transparent light guide plate that is provided overlapping the image display surface, transmits the light emitted from the image display device, and also has grooves constituting a pattern formed thereon, includes a light source that irradiates an end surface of the transparent light guide plate with light, and is switched between display and non-display of the pattern based on lighting and non-lighting of the light source. A polarization direction of the image display device and an extending direction of the grooves intersect at an angle range of 75° to 105°. Accordingly, the display device can ensure proper visibility.

Such event data may also be transferred accordingly via the battery exchange process at the online exchange machine through a memory device attached to the battery that stores the event data.

In a bezel that includes a cover portion arranged above a display unit of a vehicular display device and a frame portion enclosing the cover portion, a front-side end portion of the cover portion is arranged at a position lower than a rear-side end portion. As a result, external light is reflected forward. Moreover, a front frame includes a reflecting plate, a semi-transparent output plate covering over the reflecting plate, and a light-collecting portion collecting external light that enters from a front into a space enclosed by the reflecting plate and the output plate. As a result, the front frame is prevented from being darkly reflected onto a front glass.

摘要: An indicator device for vehicles has an information indicator panel, and a cover provided in front of the panel. The cover comprises a base layer, a polarizing layer, an anti-glare layer and an anti-reflection layer. The cover is arranged so that P-polarized light from the polarizing layer becomes incident to a front windshield in an angle of about 56null. Thus, the reflectance of the P-polarized light is reduced to about zero, and the light emitted from the panel is restricted from forming a virtual image by reflection on the front windshield.
