    Abstract: In a bump stopper (115) attached to a main frame (10) of a chassis frame (9) of a vehicle (1), a stopper body (116) is a panel which is, as viewed in a cross section along a horizontal direction, formed in a bag shape having an opening on an inner side in a vehicle width direction and formed so as to have openings at upper and lower ends. The stopper body (116) is attached to an outer surface of the main frame (10) at front and rear attachment parts (116c, 116d) which are end parts of the panel positioned at sides of the opening on the inner side in the vehicle width direction. A contact member (118) contacting an arm (92) is attached to the stopper body (116) so as to be positioned in the vicinity of a lower opening (116) of the stopper body (116).

    Abstract: A suspension apparatus for an automotive vehicle employs, as its main element, a main suspension member 10. The main suspension member 10 includes a main portion 12 constituted by a pipe; two body-side attachment portions 14, 16 that are fixed to opposite ends of the main portion 12, respectively; and a wheel-side attachment portion 18 that is fixed to a rear-side portion of the main portion 12. The opposite ends of the pipe constituting the main portion 12 are located near to each other, such that the main portion 12 has a generally C-shaped configuration in its side view. The body-side attachment portions 14, 16 are attached to a body of the vehicle such that those portions 14, 16 are pivotable about their pivotal axes. The pivotal axes of the two body-side attachment portions 14, 16 are offset from each other in a direction perpendicular to those axes, or are inclined relative to each other. Otherwise, those pivotal axes are offset from each other in the direction perpendicular thereto, and simultaneously are inclined relative to each other. The wheel-side attachment portion 18 is attached to a wheel-holding member, not shown, that holds a wheel 30 such that the wheel 30 is rotatable. Thus, the main suspension member 10 can function as both a suspension spring and a suspension link.

    Abstract: A device for adjusting camber angle of a vehicle tire/wheel assembly, comprising a camber arm having first and second arms and a cage. The cage comprises a cavity, top and front walls, sidewalls, and a cut-out, the first and second arms connected to the sidewalls. The device further comprises a ball joint assembly adjustably engaged with the cage, and comprising a housing and a lower clamping plate. The device further comprises an upper clamping plate, the upper and lower clamping plates bolted to the cage top wall. The ball joint assembly moveable from a first position where an outward portion of the ball joint housing is disposed outside of the cage cavity, and a second position where the outward portion of the ball joint housing is disposed within the cage cavity.
