摘要： A parachute structure is introduced, including a supporting tube that contains a second inner tube having a first inner tube contained in its hollow tube body, wherein the supporting tube further includes a pushing bar to push up the first inner tube; and a plurality of parachute canopy folded and superposed on the supporting tube, such that the canopy is held and lifted up with the semi-circular holding part above the first and second inner tubes in a half-extended state. Each canopy of the parachute is pushed up by adjusting positions to lift up the first and second inner tubes of the supporting tube, for allowing the user to easily maneuver the extension of the canopy, making it an efficient escape tool that is not only very mobile and easy to maneuver, but is also bandy in terms of packing up for storage.

摘要： An aerial cargo container is described that includes a cargo box with a plurality of hinged rotor blades having a stowed position against the sides of the box and a deployed position extending outwardly from the box, and a deceleration and orientation assembly to slow the descent of the container and align the longitudinal axis of the container with the relative wind direction, thereby minimizing damage to the blades upon opening. The assembly includes a drogue chute, a blade retainer to secure the blades in the stowed position, and a folded metering cord attached between the drogue chute and the box, and a segment securing the blade retainer, whereby the cord segments unfold sequentially upon exertion of a force to slow and orient the container, prior to release of the blade retainer to permit movement of the blades to their deployed positions.

摘要： An apparatus for the emergency lowering of a person from a high-rise building is fastened on the person's back. The apparatus includes an inflatable central toroidal chamber having a membrane for accommodating the person. The chamber is connected on one side to inflatable shafts which, upon inflation, are arranged in a cone, and which are interconnected by inflatable connectors. The chamber is connected on the other side to an inflatable damping structure with a toroidal inflatable chamber connected by inflatable shafts to the central toroidal chamber. The toroidal inflatable chamber of the damping structure has a diameter which is greater than the diameter of the central toroidal chamber and is less than the diameter of the base of the cone formed by shafts straightened out upon inflation. An air-impermeable perforated fabric is stretched between the shafts and toroidal chambers. An independent gas source is connected to one of the toroidal inflatable chambers or to one of the inflatable shafts.

摘要： The present invention relates to a speed retarding mechanism for aerial bs launched from a high velocity vehicle and designed to provide a high drag stabilizer capable to withstand release in air stream velocities moving at 2600 feet per second. The mechanism includes a balloon consisting of a top and bottom panel joined on the perimeters and having valve openings through its bottom panel. When the load has been braked to an acceptable velocity the valve closes the openings causing the balloon to collapse and become a streamer providing a high energy impact.

摘要： A self inflating escape pod in the form of a vest to be worn by an individual to protect their body from a fall when they jump from a high rise building. The vest has a battery, altimeter, motion sensor, bladders and means for inflating the bladders. Removal of the vest from a storage cabinet activates the altimeter which activates the motion detector upon detecting a change in altitude. Upon sensing motion, the motion detector activates inflation of the bladders, forming a pod surround the individual's body. Air channels in the pod provide air to the individual and the pod is designed to accommodate different sizes of individuals. Beacons and reflectors on the pod assist in locating it, and one or more of the bladders will automatically deflate once the individual has stopped falling.
