摘要： A storage module adapter assembly includes adapter base plates that are two-person portable, can be installed/removed by hand, and cooperate with existing structures of existing modular cargo containers. Each adapter base plate includes various longitudinal and transverse frame members, as well as first and second longitudinal frame members on opposed sides thereof. The first longitudinal frame member has a first height, and the second longitudinal frame member has a second height, which is greater than the first height. Each of the first and second longitudinal frame members also include generally horizontal flange members extending from a top side thereof, such that when two adapter base plates are appropriately positioned side by side, the generally horizontal flange members on the adjacent sides of the two adapter base plates overlap due to the difference between the first and second heights. The adapter base plates can then be connected together by appropriate mechanisms.

摘要： An expandable modular interlocking pallet system comprises a plurality of elongated modules, each including a lattice array for supporting a load. The module includes a first side having two female tracks and a second side opposite the first having two complementary male tracts adapted to interlock with the female tracks of an adjacent module. The module also includes a slam latch nested in the module which may engage a striker positioned on an adjacent module. The striker allows for disassembly of the pallet system as desired. Passageways are provided in each module that allow forks of a lift truck or the like to move the interlocked pallet.

The pallet or cart, at its one or right side, has a coupling, which cooperate with an associated coupling on the opposite or left side of an adjacent pallet or cart. The couplings and the associated couplings can be connected to connect the two pallets or carts together to make them capable of being moved together, and even be lifted and lowered together by a standard lift truck or fork lift or a standard pallet jack. The couplings are also releasable so that, when necessary, each pallet or cart may be used as would be a single pallet or cart. The pallet or cart may have one or more foldable shelves therein.

摘要： A pallet used for stowing and transporting items for shipping. The pallet design of the present invention includes a top deck, a bottom skid, and several posts for providing support between the top deck and bottom skid. The posts are integrated with either the top deck or bottom skid. Within each pallet post is a steel tube reinforcement that is overmolded directly into the bottom skid, or is assembled after the pallet post is molded. The supports, which are typically hollow posts, are molded onto either the top deck or bottom skid, and a thermoplastic weld or adhesive joint is applied to the posts to complete the assembly. The palled having the integrated posts and reinforcements provides an economical approach of reinforcing pallet posts to absorb tow fork impact.
