Abstract:
In an example, a print media transport apparatus comprises a plurality of pallets having a self-propulsion mechanism, and being to support print media. The pallets may circulate on an endless track comprising a printing zone, a descending zone and an ascending zone. A controller may control the self-propulsion mechanisms of the pallets such that a pallet on the descending zone is at least partially supported by another pallet which is ahead on the track, and a pallet on the ascending zone is at least partially driven by pallet which follows on the track.
Abstract:
In the case of a card mass storage device having a storage device and a card transfer, the storage device includes a main storage device and an interim storage device, which is disposed between the main storage device and the card transfer, to allow sorting processes that make implementing rapid access possible.
Abstract:
A container and a system for the processing of bank notes which are present as separate units. Beginning with a container for the processing of bank notes which are present as separate units, having a housing, open on one side, for the receiving of bank notes standing on their longitudinal edges, the container can be subdivided by means of separator elements, and the separator elements have free gaps toward the interstices formed therebetween.
Abstract:
A loading member includes a receiving section that changes a posture thereof from a receiving posture where a loading material is received to a rising posture where the loading material is supported in a raised state; and a positioning section that is projected from a portion of a base end of the receiving section and then positions a lower end position of the loading material when the posture of the receiving section is changed to the rising posture; wherein the positioning section is provided with a loading assisting member assists the positioning of the loading material in a case of the receiving posture, while the front end of the loading assisting member rotates in a direction to approach a receiving surface of the loading material at the receiving section in a case of changing from the receiving posture to the rising posture.
Abstract:
A successively peelable tape dispenser comprises a tape stand and a successively peelable tape, wherein said tape stand comprises a main base body and a fastening seat that can engaged with each other; said main base body is provided with a sleeve; said successively peelable tape is disposed over said sleeve and is composed of a plurality of tape groups; wherein each tape group is a stack of a plurality of tape pieces, and the first tape piece of each tape group is protruded beyond the remaindering tape pieces; wherein, when the fastening seat is engaged with the main base body, said successively peelable tape is interposed between said fastening seat and said main base body, and the first tape piece will be pushed to protrude above said sleeve, such that, upon rotating said successively peelable tape, said tape piece can be cut apart by a tape lifter.
Abstract:
An arrangement for handling banknotes having a banknote magazine (10) which is arranged to permit banknotes (39) to be fed into as well as out from the magazine one by one, and a memory device (44) for storing continuously updated information about the contents of the magazine (10). The banknote magazine has a controllably rotatable drum (10), containing a plurality of separate magazine compartments (11), formed by sector-like pockets, each of which extends in a generally radial direction into the drum (10) from an opening (27) located at the periphery of the drum. Through rotation of the drum (10), a selectable magazine compartment (11) can be placed with its opening (27) in front of an infeed and/or outfeed station (17, 19, 21) in order to permit an infeed of a banknote into or an outfeed of a banknote from said compartment (11) by an infeed and outfeed device (28), located within the magazine compartment (11) and serving also to hold a banknote fed into the magazine compartment (11) within the latter.
Abstract:
A method and an arrangement for collecting and subsequently stitching folded sheet-like printed products. The method includes regularly feeding printed products to a conveying track. The arrangement has a plurality of supports for placing the printed products thereon, wherein the supports extend transversely of the conveying direction and are spaced apart in conveying direction. At least one feeder station is provided for the supports. A stitching apparatus is arranged in front of the end of the conveyor track. The conveyor track is driven by a bending means which engages the supports.

Abstract:
A card-handling device reads a suit and value of individual cards that are moved through the card-handling device. Reading of the cards is effected after the cards have been received into a card holding area and before the cards have been delivered into a card collection area from which cards are removed from the card-handling device for use. The read suit and rank are then sent to a processor, wherein the processor identifies whether any card is a card that should be rejected from the card-handling device and the card-handling device then rejecting that card from the card-handling device.
