    摘要: The invention relates to a catalyst for the polymerization of norbornene monomers comprising transition metal complex (A) represented by formula (1); and a method for producing a norbornene (co)polymer, especially a norbornene copolymer containing a monomer unit represented by formulae (2) and (3), wherein a norbornen monomer is homopolyzed or copolymerized in the presence of the polymerization catalyst. Preferable examples of the transition metal complex (A) include (π-allyl){4-(2,6-diisopropylphenylimino)-2-penten-2-olato-κ2N,O}palladium and (π-allyl){4-(1-naphthylimino)-2-penten-2-olato-κ2N,O}palladium. In the formulae, the symbols are as defined in the description. A norbornene (co)polymer which has excellent transparency, excellent heat resistance, excellently low water absorption and excellent electrical insulation characteristics can be efficiently produced by the present invention.

    摘要: A resin composition of the present invention includes a maleimide derivative (A) represented by a general formula (1) and a bis-maleimide compound (B) represented by a general formula (2). In the general formula (1), R1 represents a straight chain or branched alkylene group having 1 or more carbon atoms, R2 represents a straight chain or branched alkyl group having 5 or more carbon atoms, and the sum of carbon atoms of R1 and R2 is 10 or less. In the general formula (2), X1 represents —O—, —COO—, or —OCOO—, R3 represents a straight chain or branched alkylene group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms, R4 represents a straight chain or branched alkylene group having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, and m is an integer of 1 or more and 50 or less.

The ultraviolet light emitting device is an ultraviolet light emitting device including: an ultraviolet light emitting element (2) composed of a nitride semiconductor; and an ultraviolet-transparent sealing resin (3) covering the ultraviolet light emitting element (2), wherein at least a specific portion (3a) of the sealing resin (3), which is in contact with pad electrodes (16) and (17) of the ultraviolet light emitting element (2), is a first type amorphous fluororesin, a terminal functional group of a polymer or a copolymer that forms the first type amorphous fluororesin is a COOH group or a COOR group which is a reactive terminal functional group bondable to a metal that forms the pad electrodes (16) and (17), and a light emission wavelength range in the ultraviolet light emitting element (2) exists on a longer-wavelength side as compared to the long-wavelength edge of an absorption wavelength range in the amorphous fluororesin.
