摘要:
An ink formulation for marking living tissue comprises a dispersion of carbon black pigment particles encapsulated in water soluble shells, mixed with a pharmaceutically accepted carrier, such as water, and a preservative. A dispersion formulation is preferential to a suspension formulation for marking living tissue because the carbon particles of the dispersion formulation are less likely to aggregate and sediment over time. In addition, the absence of large quantities of additives makes a dispersion formulation less reactive to living tissue, further enhancing its appeal as a biological marker.
摘要:
Disclosed is an ink composition which comprises water, an acid dye, a monovalent salt, a polyquaternary amine compound, and an optional nonionic or cationic surfactant, said ink being substantially free of organic solvents. The ink is particularly suitable for applications such as ink jet printing and marking pens. The disclosed inks in some embodiments are substantially indelible. Also disclosed is a composition for removing the ink compositions from substrates to which they have been applied which comprises water and a dianionic surfactant, optionally further containing a salt, urea, and/or a viscosity building agent such as a gum.
摘要:
A stable indelible colored ink composition for invalidating bank notes or similar valuables by staining them permanently, comprises at least one of di- or tri-phenylguanidine.
摘要:
The present invention provides an epidermal penetration type ink composition comprising: a fluorescent colorant containing at least one selected from the group consisting of indocyanine green (ICG), cyanine, phthalocyanine, oxazine, rhodamine, and a mixture thereof; a binder resin containing at least one of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and polyvinylbutyral (PVB); and a solvent containing at least one of ethanol and isopropanol.
摘要:
An ink and method of conducting an examination suitable for reducing the likelihood that the students' answers on paper-based examinations may be changed at a later time prior to being graded. The ink includes a solution of marking particles, a suspension material, and a preserving material. A mark made with the ink is initially erasable for a predetermined period of time after the mark is formed and after the expiration of the predetermined period of time the mark is not erasable. The method of conducting an examination includes providing an ink to an individual, and then providing questions to an individual wherein the individual indicates answers to the questions by producing marks with the ink.
摘要:
A water-based ink composition for glass and ceramic surfaces contains an acrylic silicone resin emulsion, pigment, dispersant, and water-based solvent. The water-based ink composition may further contain a thixotropic agent and/or resin beads. The ink composition allows writing made with it to sufficiently demonstrate excellent water resistance, hot water resistance, and scratch resistance even on glass and ceramic surfaces, and to remain sufficiently legible even after the glass products or ceramics are cleaned repeatedly.

A non-erasable ink composition suitable for use in writing instruments is described comprising an isocyanate free thermoplastic polyurethane resin, a colorant and an organic solvent. The ink composition may also include a second resin, plasticizers, antioxidants, corrosion inhibitors, lubricants, chemical dispersants, and surfactants. The inks of the present invention exhibit a smooth writing performance and non-seepage.

Methods for covalently and indelibly anchoring a polyacrylate polymer using a UV-induced polymerization process in the presence of a photoinitiator to an oxide surface are disclosed herein. The methods and compositions prepared by the methods can be used as indelible marking materials for use on microelectronic packages and as solder and sealant barriers to prevent overspreading of liquids on the oxide surfaces of microelectronic packages. The polyacrylate polymers are covalently linked to the oxide surface by use during the printing and UV-curing process of an adhesion promoter having as a first domain an oxide-reactive silyl group, bonded via a linker to an acrylate-reactive group.
