摘要： An assembly includes: a seal strip with an upper wear surface and an opposed lower surface, the seal strip configured to provide a seal for a suction roll, the seal strip comprising a first material having a first thermal conductivity; a seal strip holder, the seal strip residing in the seal strip holder and movable relative thereto; and a temperature monitoring system. The temperature monitoring system comprises: a heat-conducting rod at least partially embedded in the seal strip, the heat-conducting rod comprising a second material, wherein the second material has a second thermal conductivity that is higher than the first thermal conductivity; a temperature sensor connected with the heat-conducting rod for sensing temperature in the heat-conducting rod, and a controller operatively connected with the temperature sensor, the controller configured to receive signals from the temperature sensor and process the signals to indicate a temperature of the upper surface of the seal strip.

providing a cellulose material,
producing at least one aqueous suspension comprising the cellulose material and adding additives to the suspension,
homogenizing the aqueous suspension and pre-drying to obtain at least one water-containing non-woven web having a first side and a second side,
drying the water-containing non-woven web in a plurality of drying steps to form at least one paper web having a first side and a second side,
further processing the paper web or a plurality of paper webs to form a cellulose-fibre-based drinking straw.
At least the first side of the non-woven web is compressed with a line load of 80 kN/m to 500 kN/m before, during or after one of the drying steps and before the further processing to form a cellulose-fibre-based drinking straw.-

摘要： A heat transfer roll for producing sheet material, particularly material having a cross-section whose thickness varies across the width of a sheet being formed, includes a journal on which the roll is rotatably supported, and at least two cooling channels at the surface of the roll that can be supplied with various fluids at various flow rates and temperatures. Fluid in the first and second channels flows at predetermined longitudinal positions at the roll surface. The first channel includes cylindrical spiral portions and the second channel includes a circular cylindrical channel located between the spiral portions. A diverter provides hydraulic flow continuity across the second flow channel to first and second portions of the first flow channel. Risers carry fluid radially outward to the flow channels at the outer surface of the roll.

摘要： Method and apparatus for drying paper webs continuously manufactured in paper machines, by the use of process steam produced by a two-substance compression heat pump with a solution-circuit.A portion of the thermal energy needed for the drying process is obtained from process steam produced by the heat pump from the waste heat contained in the moist exhaust air of the paper machine, and another portion from preheated ambient air, which is then used for drying the paper web. The ambient air is preheated by using it to cool the rich solution of the heat pump.

摘要： A rotary cylinder for use in a calender has a roller with a hollow cylindrical sleeve and two trunnions secured to the end portions of the sleeve. The roller contains a coaxial displacing component which defines with the sleeve an annular clearance for the flow of a cooling or heating fluid, such fluid being admitted through one of the trunnions and being evacuated through the one or the other trunnion. One or more prestressed elastic cushions are interposed between the displacing component and the roller to compensate for and to counteract eventual radial and or axial movements of a portion of or the entire displacing component as a result or unequal heating or cooling of the roller and displacing component. A single cushion may constitute a hollow conical frustum or a hollow cylinder. If the roller contains several cushions, such cushions may constitute discrete disks or ribs which are integral with the displacing component and contact the internal surface of the sleeve.
