    摘要: A modular wall system for use in trade shows includes a wall or header panel formed of frame parts, and a connecting bracket for detachably connecting the end of the panel to an upstanding column. Perpendicular sections of a corner connector are received in the hollow end of different ones of the frame parts to connect the frame parts. A fabric cover defines a recess with an open end adapted to receive the frame parts. A closure device is provided for at least partially closing the open end of the fabric cover. A vertical support member extends from the frame parts to a surface to transmit the weight of an accessory to the surface. The accessory may be an adjustable garment rack, a coupling grid, a shelving unit, or a peg-board unit and a hook. The system includes a crate adapted to receive a plurality of members for transport.

    摘要: An arbitrary structural insulated panel and an adjoining structural insulated panel, which include magnesium oxide boards as the exterior panels, can be connected together by a first spline and a second spline. The arbitrary structural insulated panel is first connected to a building floor foundation. Then the first spline and the second spline are adhered into the arbitrary structural insulated panel. The adjoining structural insulated panel is then secured to the arbitrary structural insulated panel as the first spline and the second spline engage with the adjoining structural insulated panel. A plurality of fasteners is used as the final step to further secure the arbitrary structural insulated panel and the adjoining structural insulated panel.

    摘要: The present invention relates to the field of modular building systems. Embodiments of the invention include, a modular building system comprising planar sheets of material and moment connections, which are combined with tool-less or limited tool assembly mechanisms and can be used, for example, as spatial partitions, platforms, structural supports, or supports for articles. Specific embodiments of the invention provide structures having a seemingly homogenous, flowing ribbon structure. One embodiment of the invention provides an exhibition support system comprising: (a) at least two planar support members comprising: (i) a top panel with a top planar surface; (ii) a parallel bottom panel with a bottom planar surface; and (iii) multiple walls disposed lengthwise between the panels; wherein the panels and walls define interior hollow cells with inner surfaces and a selected inner cell height and inner cell width; and (b) at least one moment connection with two elongated members: (i) disposed at an angle of orientation relative to one another; and (ii) having a height or width to allow for a pressure fit within one of the cells along the inner cell height or width of the planar member when inserted therein; whereby structural support for the system is internal and is provided lengthwise within the planar support members at the inner surfaces of the cell that interfaces with the elongated members when inserted therein.

    摘要: The present invention is a method and system for constructing pre-fabricated buildings. Wall panels are provided wherein each wall panel has a plurality of vertically disposed channel-shaped metal studs equidistantly disposed between a bottom plate and top plate. A substantially rigid foam insert is between each of the channel-shaped metal studs of a wall panel to provide insulation and structural support to the wall panel. The foam inserts each have an aperture forming a conduit vertically disposed within the foam insert. An interior spline is inserted between adjacent wall panels and provides the mechanical connection to secure the wall panels together. The interior spline comprises rigid foam with a pair of steel facing adhered on opposing faces of the spline.

    摘要: A 3D construction module comprising at least one vertically upstanding panel with first and second mesh layers oriented generally transversely and longitudinally. The first and second mesh layers have at least one rod member mounted to said panel and are vertically spaced from each other. The rod members form a first horizontally projected retention cell to restrict translation of a bar held in said retention cell between said first and second mesh layers. A third mesh can also be provided to form a second retention cell between said second and third mesh layers. The first and second retention cells restrict translation movement longitudinally and transversely of a vertical reinforcement member held in said first and second retention cells, and restrict rotation of the vertical reinforcement member about both a longitudinal axis and a transverse axis of the said 3D construction module. Horizontal reinforcement meshes are features of the invention. Other features of the invention include a trough for holding melted panel material, connectors for connecting rods to panels and associated stopper members. Also included are bracers for joining connectors and other devices related to panel connections.

The panels may include utility recesses formed in one face of the panel and mortised edges for keying the panels securely together. The panels may be formed with alternate framing member spacings. Auxiliary framing members are disclosed having T and L shaped cross sections for joining panels together or reinforcing the panels to support greater loads.

    摘要: A demountable modular dwelling structure formed of individual detachably interlocking panels. Each panel is formed by joining at least three frame members end-to-end to define a framework. Each of the framing members has a cutaway part and an overhanging part at each end. The cutaway and overhanging parts mate with like parts of the adjoining framing member defining a cavity within the joint. Pin means restrain lateral movement between the joint members. The frame members are grooved to receive siding panels which lock within the grooves and maintain the frame members in proper angular relationship.
