    摘要: An electric lock for remote access control to a container wherein a U-shaped latch is mounted on a door in alignment with a slot in a housing mounted in the container. Upon closure, the latch enters the housing to engage a slotted keeper therein and causes rotation of the keeper. Rotation of the keeper causes a release lever to engage a stepped protrusion on the keeper and secures the keeper and latch. Activation of a solenoid or drive motor coupled to the release lever permits withdrawal of the latch from the housing. The axes of rotation of the keeper and release lever are located to greatly reduce the impact of pre-release forces to the door.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a locking arrangement by means of which two parts can be locked to each other, such as locking a door to its frame construction. The locking arrangement comprises a first locking element fastened to the lock unit, a second locking element fastened to the counter part and an acting element being preferably a part of the lock unit. The first and second locking elements are gripping brackets, forming a hooked grip with each other when the lock unit and the counter part are against each other, when, for example, the door is locked in its opening. The gripping brackets are essentially in the direction of the movement of the door. The task of the acting element is to keep the gripping brackets in an overlapping position when the locking arrangement is locked. The position of the acting can be changed, and the current state of the locking arrangement depends on the position.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a lock that provides a multipoint lock that includes reinforcement of the door and jamb on a relatively continuous basis. The lock is for installation in a residential or commercial door having a door frame or jamb and a door. The lock includes a fixed strip coupled to the door jamb, a sliding strip slidably coupled to an edge of the door configured to slidably engage the fixed strip, and a mechanism moveably engaged to the sliding strip for vertically moving the sliding strip to engage the fixed strip. Both the sliding strip and fixed strip have at least one tab extending outwardly therefrom and configured to engage each other. If desired, these tabs could be extended all along the sliding and fixed strips to provide a series of engagement points that serve to uniformly connect the door edge to the door jamb. Each tab on the door edge is formed so it can lock into the similar shaped tab on the door jamb to provide a secure point of connection. When the door is opened the tabs are aligned in a manner so they do not engage and then when the door is closed one set of tabs moves transversely to engage the opposite set of tabs.

    摘要: A special type of key is made use of to actuate an electronically triggered release mechanism to unlock a door. To enable the electronic means to function, insertion of the key in the keyway initially closes a switch to energize the electronic circuit. Also when the key reaches the switch closing position, a read head for the electronic circuit, located adjacent the keyway, interprets magnetic coding carried by the key. The electronic circuit is programmed to motivate a motor driven mechanism to move a locking pin out of engagement with a latch bolt where the latch bolt has been acting to hold a door locked. Once the locking pin has been removed, the latch bolt is in fact withdrawn from its locked position by rotation of the key in a substantially normal fashion.
