摘要: An apparatus for opening and closing a tailgate for a vehicle includes a latch device provided in the tailgate and an actuator. The latch device includes a claw to engage with a striker provided at a vehicle body side, a pawl to engage with the claw to maintain the claw in a locked position, and an unlocking lever to operate the pawl to unlock the claw. The actuator includes a cinching/release lever to selectively operate a cinching cable connected to the claw to rotate the claw from an unlocked position to the locked position, and a release cable connected to the unlocking lever to operate the claw from the locked position to the unlocked position.

摘要: A vehicle door opening/closing device having a latch mechanism, a locking mechanism, an actuator, and a canceling mechanism is provided. The actuator has an electric motor and a pivotable drive lever. The canceling mechanism operates to block transmission of power between the electric motor and the drive lever when manipulation force of a vehicle door handle is transmitted to the canceling mechanism through the locking mechanism. The manipulation force of the door handle is transmitted to the canceling mechanism only when the vehicle door is in an unlocked state.

摘要: The present invention is an in-line electric motor actuator. An electric motor has a rotor shaft engaged with a gear set within a housing. As an example, the gear set may be a planetary gear set. The planetary gears are engaged with a disk. The disk is fixed to a shaft rod or other force transmitting component such as lead screw. The lead screw is engaged with a traveling block. When the lead screw rotates, the traveling block moves along the lead screw. The lateral movement of the traveling block may be linked to further force application devices, such as a pin or a cable. In one aspect of the invention, the rotor shaft is a hollow tube, and the lead screw is a spindle or rod disposed to slide in and out of the rotor shaft tube.

摘要: A cinching door latch has a fork bolt that pivots between a primary latched position and an unlatched position. A detent lever pivots between a an engaged position and a disengaged position holds the fork bolt in the primary latched position when in the engaged position and releases the fork bolt for movement to the unlatched position when in the disengaged position. A transfer lever pivots between a lock position and an unlock position is operatively connected to the detent lever for pivoting the detent lever to the disengaged position. A cinching mechanism assures that the fork bolt is pivoted to the primary latched position when the door is closed. The cinching mechanism has a cinching gear drivingly connected to the fork bolt, a power driven planetary gear set for driving the cinching gear, and a one-way device. The one-way device limits rotation of an element of the planetary gear set to one direction so that the fork bolt can be pivoted to the primary latched position without back driving the input to the planetary gear set in the event of power failure. A release mechanism disables the one-way device so that the fork bolt can move to an unlatched position without back driving the input to the planetary gear set.

摘要: A door latch system for a vehicle includes: a latch interlocking mechanism arranged to be actuated in a release cancel direction from a neutral position to be interlocked with the pivot movement of the latch in a predetermined direction; and a release cancel mechanism arranged to be actuated from a connection state where an operation force transmitting path for transmitting the power of the electric driving mechanism to the ratchet is connected, to a disconnection state where the operation force transmitting path is disconnected, by the actuation of the latch interlocking mechanism in the release cancel direction from the neutral position, the release cancel mechanism being arranged to be actuated from the connection state to the disconnection state when the ratchet is in a release restriction state so as to enable the ratchet to return to the engagement position.
