摘要： A corner connector for connecting adjacent hollow intermediate frames used in the construction of insulated glass panels. The corner connector includes a two-part body having a flexible mid-portion. One end of each body portion has a retaining arm. When each retaining arm of each corner connector positioned along a longitudinal center connected to an intermediate frame it holds or secures the hollow intermediate frames together. The two hollow intermediate frames can then be moved toward each other to form a ninety degree angle therebetween. The resilient mid-portion of the body of the corner connector may be locked in place to maintain that perpendicular relationship. Therefore four intermediate frames may be positioned along the same longitudinal line during manufacturing.

In an embodiment, a fenestration unit includes a frame assembly forming a first lower corner and a second lower corner. A first sill corner bracket can fit on a top of a sill and extend from the first lower corner partway along the top of the sill and partway along one side jamb of the frame assembly. A second sill corner bracket can be configured to fit on the top of the sill and extend from the second lower corner partway along the top of the sill and partway along the other side jamb. A bottom sash can include a bottom rail defining a channel to receive at least a portion of the first corner bracket and the second corner bracket therein when the bottom sash is in the closed position. Other embodiments are also included herein.

The deformable projection is deformed by the securement projection and exerts a compressive force on the securement projection to releasably secure the first and second arms in a desired angular orientation.
