摘要： A stator for a progressive cavity pump or motor includes a stator housing having a longitudinal axis. In addition, the stator includes a stator insert of a material moulded within the housing. The stator housing includes an outer tube having an inner surface. The stator housing also includes a plurality of framework elements disposed on the inner surface of the outer tube. Further, the stator housing includes at least one recess in the inner surface of the outer tube. The conjunction of the framework elements and the at least one recess define a plurality of chambers receiving insert material therein whereby the insert material is mechanically fixed axially, radially and torsionally within the outer tube.

摘要： A fluid machine is provided which is operable as a pump, compressor, or fluid motor, or as a combined fluid motor and pump or compressor, and comprises a working member taking the form of a flexible band which divides a working chamber into inner and outer working chambers and is flexurally movable through a cycle of operation therewithin to alternately expand and contract respective portions of said inner and outer working chambers. Inlet and outlet passages are provided in fluid flow communication with each of said inner and outer working chambers and are operable to enable the pumping or compression of fluid therethrough when the fluid machine is utilized as a pump or compressor, and/or to admit fluid under pressure thereto and exhaust the same therefrom when the fluid machine is utilized as a fluid motor or a combined fluid motor and pump or compressor.

摘要： A motor wherein a stationary carrier supports one or more rotors each having a hollow cylindrical or endless belt-like buoyant member confining an annulus of separate inflatable and deflatable compartments for alternative admission of heated gaseous fluid and evacuation of spent fluid while the buoyant member is at least partially immersed in a supply of liquid. The inflated compartments push the buoyant member sideways and thus hold the buoyant member in a position of eccentricity with reference to the carrier and/or with reference to a hub, which is mounted on the carrier and receives torque from the buoyant member, so that the latter rotates due to its eccentric positioning and under the action of the lifting force.

摘要： A rotary motion machine and method of operation that includes at least one radially expandable piston defining an inner chamber having a volume that varies upon radial expansion and contraction of the piston, a core defining, at least in part, a cylinder in which the piston is positioned, a rotor rotationally movable relative to the core and being rotated by a relatively incompressible fluid driven by expansion of the piston, and at least one magnet associated with the rotor that, upon rotation of the rotor, generates electricity in a cooperatively arranged coil. A novel fuel injector atomizes and injects fuel along the length of the inner chamber. The piston can include a spiral of thin, flexible foil of amorphous material having a strip of a crystalline material for causing the spiral to expand after contraction. In one embodiment, the spiral has a melting temperature of about 3,200 degrees Celsius.

摘要： A belt-driven rotary drive having a belt closed upon itself which is connected, within a pressure fluid-tight housing over roller-shaped bodies with the formation of movable pressure chambers, to a rotatable shaft which is extended out of the housing and the movable pressure chambers can be acted on by pressure fluid. In order further to develop a belt-driven rotary drive of this type in such a manner that the sealing action and the friction caused thereby can always be adjusted in simple manner from the outside, it is proposed that the closed belt (1) be adapted to be pressed on itself over a part of its length, with the formation of two pressure chambers which are pressure fluid-tight from each other, by a static pressing member which acts in the direction towards one of the roller-shaped bodies and that the pressing member be functionally connected for the adjustment of the pressing force with an adjusting device which is adjustable from the outside.
