    摘要: A free piston apparatus includes a piston receptacle in which a piston device having a piston is linearly reciprocable. The piston receptacle includes or forms a combustion chamber delimited by a wall arrangement forming a first opening and a second opening. The openings include an inlet opening for the supply of fresh gas and an outlet opening for the removal of exhaust gas for a uniflow scavenging of the combustion chamber. Movement of the piston device is controllable by a control device. The bottom dead center of the piston can be adjustable such that when the piston adopts the bottom dead center, the first opening is partially unblocked and partially blocked for adjusting a free cross sectional area of the first opening. An opening duration can also be adjustable. A method for operating a free piston apparatus includes controlling movement of a piston device with a control device.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to an improved internal combustion engine including a cylindrical cylinder, on either side a cylinder head is emplaced and a reciprocating piston and oil reserve tank is also located in the piston for lubricating the cylinder and it has two series of fire, compression and oil rings, located on two sides of the piston in order to seal the cylinder housing. The improved engine provides more compaction, discharge and better breath in comparison with common engines; wherein air is compressed into the cylinder and smoke exits from the cylinder speedily. The improved engine has a significant impact on fuel saving. In addition, smoke and air filters are emplaced on the valves which will produce less emissions compared with the similar engines. In comparison with similar engines in double-ended combustion engines, the fuel consumed is cut by 50% or cut by 25%. in single combustion engines.

    摘要: When a fluid pressure cylinder (1) is in a maximum expansion state, a piston (40) contacts a cylinder head (30). The cylinder head (30) is fixed to a cylinder tube (10) by a plurality of head bolts (12). The cylinder head (30) includes a pipe attachment seat (36), and the head bolts (12) are disposed in a first region (A) that avoids the pipe attachment seat (36). A non-contact portion in which contact is avoided between the piston (40) and the cylinder head (30) is formed in a second region (B) other than the first region (A), and therefore, when the fluid pressure cylinder (1) is in the maximum expansion state, a tensile load acting on the head bolts (12) on either side of the first region (A) can be suppressed to become equal to a tensile load acting on the other head bolts (12).

    摘要: A self-tightening retaining system for securing a closure in position closing an access port of a pump housing. The system includes a retaining cover for obstructing removal of the closure from a bore of the access port. The cover has external threads interengageable with screw threads of the bore. A locking device is configured for being secured to the cover such that the locking device rotates together with the cover. The locking device has a fastener receivable in a hole of the closure and has external threads interengageable with threads of the hole. The threads of the cover and the threads of the fastener are spiraled in opposite directions such that when the cover rotates in a loosening direction, the fastener becomes tightened in the hole of the closure thereby stopping the rotation.

A piston held within the shock body defines a rear air chamber and a forward air chamber on the opposite side of the piston. Four electrically controlled air valves include a first air valve that when actuated opens a passage to allow air to flow into the forward chamber, a second air valve that when actuated opens a passage to allow air to flow out of the forward chamber to the atmosphere, a third air valve that when actuated opens a passage to allow air to flow out of the rear air chamber, and a fourth air valve that when actuated opens a passage to allow air to flow into the rear air chamber.
