摘要: A power take-off device for use in a wave energy converter unit having a buoy includes a power take-off hull connectable to a mooring device, and connected to or connectable to the buoy, preferably by a link rope, and a power extracting device adapted to extract power as the buoy moves with the waves, by applying up to a predetermined maximum control force. A two-stage end-stop cushioning system comprises a first stage end-stop cushioning device having a first fluid cylinder adapted to apply an additional deceleration force on the device above the maximum control force, and a second stage end-stop cushioning device adapted to be extended like a spring in an end-stop operation after the first stage has been activated and when the power take-off force is higher than the above the maximum control force, to hold the buoy submerged through the crest of a large wave.

摘要: An apparatus has at least one buoyant member pivotally connectable to an adjacent member and configured for relative movement about a first axis of rotation when acted upon by one or more incident waves. At least one pair of bevel gears are arranged to rotate about the first axis of rotation upon relative movement between the pivotally connectable members. The bevel gears mesh with a corresponding pinion gear which is attached to a rotatable drive extending substantially perpendicularly from the first axis of rotation. The pair of bevel gears are configured to engage the pinion gear in opposite directions respectively to drive the pinion and rotatable shaft to rotate in a single direction regardless of the direction of movement of the pivotally connectable members. The rotatable drive shaft is connected to a generator for the generation of electricity when the apparatus is subjected to incident water waves.

摘要: A floating breakwater structure is described. The structure includes a floating platform disposed at a water surface and a mooring system. The floating platform has one long side for facing a shore and another long side for facing a sea-horizon. The mooring system includes at least one pair of side anchors located on the seabed at one long side of the buoyancy platform, and at least one another pair of side anchors located on the seabed at the other long side of the floating platform. The mooring system also includes at least two pairs of crossing mooring spring-lines linked at one end to the floating platform. Each pair of the crossing mooring spring-lines is linked at one end to the corresponding long side of the of the floating platform and at another end to the corresponding pair of the side anchors.

摘要: This invention discloses a method and a device for the capture of wave power, exploiting the maximum potential energy of each wave, based on obtaining the maximum imbalance possible between the Thrust Force and the Weight acting upon the capture elements on the passage of each wave, slowing and releasing them both at their high points and at their low points by means of the use of blocking systems, maximizing the submerged and emerged volumes of the next movement, likewise the travel during which the capture elements are accelerated due to the exploitation of their kinetic energy and their release in the transmission of efforts at the moments when the points of equilibrium between the rising and falling maximums are reached, thus generating an increase in the potential energy captured.

摘要: A device and method for generating electric energy from a wave motion are described. The device comprises a drive train with a power split transmission comprising at least three ports. The drive train is arranged between a movable element and a main electric generator. The device further comprises a variable speed auxiliary electrical machine connected to one of the ports and a control unit for controlling the auxiliary electrical machine. The control unit is adapted for controlling the power distribution in the power split transmission as to realize a one-way rotation of the main electric generator.

摘要: A free floating wave energy converter includes a flexible pine and an inlet. The flexible pipe floats on water surface, following the wave form. Slugs of water and air enter, one after the other, through the inlet. Because the flexible pipe follows the shape of the wave, water is transported through a manifold to a pressure chamber connected to a generator. The inlet consists of hollow, inflexible pipe attached to the throat of the flexible pipe. The inflexible pipe is fixedly attached to a buoyancy tank or plurality thereof. The buoyancy tanks are arranged in a vertical plane or in tandem, with the inflexible pipe passing along the plane vertical to the fore and aft axis of the buoyancy tank and the frontward portion projecting sufficiently ahead of the buoyancy tank with the flexible pipe terminating at a singular outlet.

摘要: A wave power plant (1), comprising a body (1) and a rotator (3) supported on the body. The body (1) is a rather flat, panel type element, which is moored with respect to the propagation direction of waves in such a way that the dimension of the body (1) in the propagation direction of waves is smaller than the draft of the body (1). The body (1) has its diagonally opposite corners provided with substantially horizontally protruding fins (4, 5), which bring about swaying of the body (1) in lateral direction, i.e. in the plane of the panel type element, in response to the vertical motion of water.
