    摘要: A hydraulic fan drive includes a hydraulic pump that has an adjustable swept volume. The hydraulic pump is assigned a pressure control valve arrangement that is configured to regulate a pump pressure by adjustment of the swept volume. The drive further includes a hydraulic motor configured to drive an impeller wheel and a pressure line, which is connected to a pressure input of the hydraulic motor and into which pressure medium is configured to be conveyed by the hydraulic pump. A hydraulic accumulator is connected to the pressure line and the displacement of the hydraulic motor is configured to be adjusted. Energy is buffer-stored by the hydraulic accumulator by feeding in pressure medium beyond the amount that is displaced by the hydraulic motor. This stored energy becomes free for other operations of a machine, for example, to which the drive is attached.

    摘要: The invention provides a pit pump having a submersible hydraulic drive motor, a pump, and a bearing block assembly. The pump has a body, a fluid inlet in the body, a fluid outlet in the body, and an impeller operatively positioned in the body, whereby fluid can be pumped between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet. The bearing block assembly operatively connects the hydraulic drive motor to the impeller of the pump, whereby the submersible hydraulic drive motor is spaced apart from the pump. The bearing block assembly preferably includes a housing and a drive shaft operatively positioned for rotational movement within the housing, whereby rotational movement can be transferred from the hydraulic drive motor to the impeller of the pump. The bearing block assembly preferably has at least one grease nipple and at least one bleeder nipple for maintaining grease lubrication within the bearing block assembly. Furthermore, the bearing block assembly is preferably lubricated with an extreme-pressure, water-resistant, and high-temperature grease.

The bearings and face seals are cooled by hydraulic oil used to power the pump, preferably through connecting the case leakage port on a conventional multiple piston type hydraulic motor to the pump as a supply and ducting the leakage through the bearings and near the seals on its way to the reservoir. An auxiliary pump built into the centrifugal pump shaft increases flow over these critical parts via a closed loop. Leakage past the dynamic face seals is led overboard through a flame-quenching passage.

    摘要: Water pumping apparatus for pumping water from excavations or other holes in the ground and upwardly to a more or less remote discharge area. The apparatus finds particular utility for use, for example by contractors, utility companies, or the like, and includes a power source, preferably mobile or easily transportable, such as an internal combustion engine or an electric motor or other power sources. A pressure fluid pump forms part of a pressure fluid tank assembly and the pump is connected directly to the power source; the pump and controls are mounted on a mounting plate forming part of the tank and can be left attached to the power source while the rest of the tank is removed, thereby exposing the pump and controls for repair, inspection or replacement. A water pump assembly is located down in the water at the bottom of the hole or excavation so that the pump assembly needs no priming. The pump assembly including a housing in which the impeller, fluid motor, and the connecting drive shaft all are located and the drive shaft and its bearings sealed in a bath of pressurized oil to prevent water from leaking into the housing. The fluid pressure pump which is driven directly by the power source is connected by long flexible conduits to the motor of the pump assembly.

    摘要: A fuel pump system for an aerial refueling system including: a variable displacement motor operable to be driven by a hydraulic fluid pressure; a fuel pump operable to be driven by the variable displacement motor; and a drive system controller (DSC) connected to the variable displacement motor, wherein the DSC is operable to direct an operation of the fuel pump in modes comprising: a flow control mode operable to maintain an output fuel flow rate from the fuel pump to a predetermined maximum inlet pressure at a reception coupling for a receiver aircraft; a fuel pressure control mode operable to regulate the output fuel flow rate to not exceed the predetermined maximum inlet pressure; and a priority mode operable to reduce the output fuel flow rate in response to a decrease in the hydraulic pressure.
