    摘要: Flow path assemblies for gas turbine engines are provided. For example, a flow path assembly comprises an inner wall; a unitary outer wall; and a plurality of nozzle airfoils having an inner end radially opposite an outer end. The unitary outer wall defines a plurality of outer pockets each configured for receipt of the outer end of one of the nozzle airfoils, and the inner wall includes defines a plurality of inner pockets each configured for receipt of the inner end of one of the plurality of nozzle airfoils. A portion of each inner pocket is defined by a forward inner wall segment and an aft inner wall segment. In another embodiment, a flow path assembly comprises an inner wall defining a plurality of bayonet slots that each receive a bayonet included with each of a plurality of nozzle airfoils that are integral with a unitary outer wall.

    摘要: A vane retainer for a gas turbine engine includes a retainer body, an inner surface of the retainer body to engage complimentary threads of a mating component, and a plurality of castellations located at an end of the retainer body for engagement with complementary installation tool features during installation of the vane retainer to the mating component. A gas turbine engine includes a combustor and a plurality of vane assemblies in fluid communication with the combustor. Each vane assembly includes a vane having an airfoil portion and a vane stem extending from the airfoil portion. The vane stem is inserted into a bushing. A vane retainer is engaged with the bushing and includes a retainer body, an inner surface of the retainer body to engage complimentary threads of the bushing, and a plurality of castellations located at an end of the retainer body for engagement with complementary installation tool features.

    摘要: An exhaust gas diffuser for a gas turbine is provided. The diffuser has an annular outer wall for guiding the diffuser flow and in which an annular guiding element is arranged concentrically to the outer wall and influences the diffuser flow. The guiding element has a surface which is radially directed inwards and has a circumferential contour that is convex in the longitudinal section to form a displacement element. The guiding element is axially displaceable between two positions so that the guiding element, when in a first position, allows a flow between the guiding element and outer wall and, when in a second position, largely prohibits a flow between the guiding element and outer wall. The aerodynamic effect of the diffuser is improved and simultaneously optimal adapted for a plurality of operational gas turbine states.
