    摘要: The invention relates to a reciprocating-piston internal combustion engine (1) having at least one engine cylinder (2, 3) and at least one piston oscillating therein, and having at least one balancing mass (14) which is driven in an oscillating manner by a crankshaft (11) via a crank throw (15) and a compensating connecting rod (16), and which is guided in a translatory fashion by means of a linear guide (17) assigned in each case to the respective balancing mass (14). The linear guide (17) is formed by at least two guide elements (18, 19), which are spaced apart from one another, for the balancing mass (14). A bearing (23) for articulatedly connecting to the compensating connecting rod (16) is formed on the balancing mass (14) in a central portion between the two mutually spaced apart guide elements (18, 19). A mass balancing system is thereby created, which ensures as high a degree of running smoothness as possible, in particular as low a level of vibration as possible, and which at the same time can be realized in as cheap and practicable manner as possible.

    摘要: A variable compression piston assembly includes a plurality of pistons, a transition arm coupled to each of the pistons, and a rotating member mounted for pivoting movement to slide along an axis of the drive member. Movement of the rotating member relative to the drive member changes the compression ratio of the piston assembly. An engine assembly includes first and second piston assemblies mounted back-to-back and 180° out of phase. A joint for positioning between first and second pistons includes an outer member and an inner member. The outer member is configured for movement relative to the pistons along a first axis perpendicular to the common axis of the pistons. The inner member is mounted within the outer member for rotation relative to the outer member about a second axis perpendicular to the first axis and the common axis.

The system including a penetrating element and a basic displacement element for establishing a basic displacement between the workpiece and the penetrating element during which basic displacement the penetrating action is provided. The tool system further including a balancing element for generating a force in the system substantially in line with counterbalancing inertial loads and reactions in the system set up by the auxiliary reciprocating displacement, the force being directed substantially in line with the auxiliary reciprocating displacement and in the direction opposite thereto.

    摘要: An engine for use in a marine propulsion system for use on a boat having a force balancer mechanism for off-setting the shaking force created by the reciprocating pistons. In a two-cylinder, four-stroke marine engine, a pair of reciprocating pistons move in unison within respective cylinders. The force balancer mechanism is mounted to the rotating crankshaft such that rotation of the crankshaft results in reciprocating movement of the balance weight in a direction opposite the pair of pistons. The balance weight of the force balancer mechanism is contained within a balance weight housing formed in the engine block. The weight of the balance weight and the distance of the balance weight from the axis of rotation of the crankshaft are selected to optimally reduce the amount of shaking force in the engine.
