    摘要: An oil passage structure of a chain-driven oil pump includes three lines of oil passages for supplying oil from the center support to the torque converter, a first oil passage for supplying oil to the torque converter through the inside of an input shaft of the torque converter, a second oil passage for supplying oil to the torque converter through a space defined by the outer periphery surface of the input shaft and the inner periphery surface of a stator shaft, and a third oil passage for supplying oil to the torque converter by bypassing the drive sprocket. The third oil passage is provided on the outer periphery side of the drive sprocket and in a position where it does not interfere with the operation of a chain. Accordingly, it is possible to utilize the flex lock-up to a maximum extent, and to reduce the diameter of the sprocket.

    摘要: A torque converting linkage (10) comprising two turbines, an impeller and a reactor (12 & 14), which rotate on shafts (16 & 18) within separate fluid-filled housings (20 & 22) is disclosed. Each housing (20 & 22) includes an outlet port and an inlet port (24 & 30, 28 & 26) which are coupled by two conduits (32 & 34). An external torque applied to shaft (16) turns the impeller turbine (12). Vanes (38) on the impeller turbine (12) force the fluid (36) out of the impeller housing (20) through a first conduit (34) into the reactor housing (22). The fluid (36) entering the reactor housing (22) acts on the vanes (38) of the reactor turbine (14), causing it to rotate and to transfer rotational energy to shaft (18).

    摘要: Improvements in a turbo transmission are provided for transferring power from a power source to a work unit. The transmission includes an input shaft coupled to a power source and to a pump that is configured to rotate with the input shaft. The pump transfers energy received from the power source into a fluid or gas. The transmission includes an output shaft and a multi-stage turbine in line. The first turbine is fixed to output shaft, and a plurality of additional turbines are fixed on either one-way overrunning clutches or multi-disc clutches and these clutches are fixed to the output shaft and after each turbine is a multi-valves that discharges the fluid or gas. After all of the multi-stage turbines a planetary gear set connects the turbo transmission to the vehicle or work unit.

    摘要: A transmission system for hybrid propulsion vehicles comprises a torque convertor, an external output shaft of the torque convertor which is rigidly connected to the output of the convertor and an internal output shaft which is rigidly connected to the input of the convertor, a gearbox which can be selectively connected to drive wheels of the vehicle, a main coupling member for selectively transmitting the movement of the external shaft to the gearbox, an electric motor which can be selectively operated as a motor and as an electrical generator. The transmission system further comprises a downstream coupling member and an upstream coupling member which are arranged upstream and downstream of the torque convertor, respectively, and which are capable of selectively connecting the rotor element to the external shaft and the internal shaft, respectively. The electric motor further comprises a rotor element which is arranged at an opposite distal end of the external shaft with respect to the torque convertor, with the main coupling member being arranged in an intermediate position between the torque convertor and the distal end.
