    摘要: An improved burst disc assembly for use in pressure relief conduits for high vacuum and ultra-high vacuum containment vessels, the assembly having a body with inlet and outlet openings connected by an internal passage, a burst disc disposed within the internal passage and connected therein to hermetically isolate the inlet and outlet openings. The assembly further has a mounting structure connected to the body and outwardly extending therefrom that may be clamped between adjacent faces of a pair of metal seal flanges provided in the relief conduit to secure the assembly in position and hermetically seal the assembly in the conduit in a manner prohibit the passage of gas molecules from the surrounding environment into the containment vessel through the relief conduit. The mounting structure is formed from a soft metal material having substantially lower hardness value than that of the metal seal flange faces to enable adequate sealing. The connection between the mounting structure and the body further provides similar hermetic seal. Upon rupture of the burst disc, the assembly alone must be replaced while the metal seal flanges connecting the burst disc assembly to the containment vessel may be reused.

Belt regions (24) generally comprise areas of enhanced mechanical properties that assist with reversal control and opening of bulged section (12) thereby ensuring complete opening of the device (10).

    摘要: A pressure relief device and a hydraulic fracturing system having a pressure relief device are provided. In one form, the pressure relief device has a valve body with a linearly extending throughbore between the inlet and outlet thereof. A rupture disc is secured in the valve body so that a frangible dome wall portion thereof has a reverse-acting orientation in the valve body bore. The hydraulic fracturing system includes a pump and a delivery line that receives pressurized fracturing fluid from the pump and delivers it to a well. A pressure relief device is installed along the delivery line. A sensor detects fluid flow downstream of the pressure relief device which allows the pump to be shut down when the downstream fluid flow is detected. The pressure relief device can have a body with a domed rupture disc and the sensor therein.

A first layer provides a gasket which abuts the battery box, the gasket having a central opening which aligns with the battery box opening. A second layer is in the form of a reverse buckling disk having a disk flange, a domed portion and a weakened portion on the dome that defines a disk burst pressure, the second layer having concave and convex sides. A third layer that is an outlet ring that sandwiches the second layer in between the first and the third layer layers, the outlet ring having a central opening surrounded by an edge. A plurality of teeth on the third layer extend from said edge inwardly. A plurality of tabs are provided on the first and third layers.
