The actuation device is configured to move the elongate member, which may be associated with the actuation device, between an open position and a closed position. The valve body is configured for attachment to the actuation device such that the elongate member is positioned within the valve body. Fluid that flows into the valve body from a fluid source is allowed to flow out of the valve body when the elongate member is in the open position.

    摘要： A tap for a urostomy or similar bag has a first valve member which includes a male valve element located in a cap. The cap has at least one drainage hole. A second valve member including a tubular female valve element is engageable with the male valve element to close the tap, but is disengageable from the male valve element to open the tap. Flexible and/or extendible diaphragm or sheath is secured to and encloses part of the female valve element in a fluid-tight manner and is also connected to the cap in a fluid-tight manner. The diaphragm or sheath permits relative movement between the two valve members.

    摘要： A valve assembly is provided for controlled draining of a liquid accumulated in a closed vessel. The assembly includes a body member mounted on the vessel and a valve piece adjustably mounted on the body member for movement between open and closed positions. The body member has a first section extending into the vessel interior wherein the liquid accumulates, a second section secured to the vessel, and a substantially exposed third section. The first, second, and third sections are provided with a common primary passage and an independent common secondary passage. Each passage has one end terminating within the vessel interior and a second end terminating externally of the vessel. The body member first section is provided with a stationary valve seat disposed in aligned and spaced relation with respect to the primary passage one end. The valve piece includes an elongated first element slidably and sealingly mounted within the primary passage. A longitudinally extending bore open at opposite ends is formed in the first section. One end of the bore engages the valve seat and is closed thereby when the valve piece is in a closed position. An exposed flange element encompasses the exterior of the first element and is connected thereto. The flange element is provided with a seal means which sealingly engages and closes off an end of the secondary passage except when the valve piece is in the open position. The seal means effects a predetermined delay in opening the secondary passage relative to the unsealing of the bore end with respect to the valve seat.

    摘要： A cartridge type control valve for replaceable use in the dispensing head of a fluid dispensing system includes, a fluid transfer assembly having a composite fluid transfer chamber means and an inlet duct assembly made of plastic material, the inlet duct assembly includes a longitudinal leg formed integral with the bottom and sidewall of the fluid transfer chamber means and a transfer leg operatively connected to the longitudinal leg and locked to the sidewall to prevent relative rotation thereof, valve means including a valve stem made of plastic material coacting with a valve port formed in the inlet duct assembly to control flow of fluid through the fluid transfer assembly, and an actuating assembly for operating the valve means with a regulator sub-assembly therein having a valve guide made of plastic material disposed for operative connection to the valve stem.Additionally, the fluid transfer chamber means of the fluid transfer assembly includes, a reinforced cup-like member, an elastomeric diaphragm disposed to lie transversely of the cup-like member to form the fluid transfer chamber therewith, and a cover member, the cup-like member and the cover member having interengaging elements with means thereon to securely clamp the edges of the diaphragm therebetween in assembled position. At least one annular reinforcing element is continuous with the rim of the cup-like member and reinforcing ridges are formed in the bottom or floor of the cup-like member.
