The coupling has a single core or multicore coupling connector plug and a coupling socket, with associated ball valves. Rotating rings associated with the coupling connector plug and the coupling socket allow for opening and closing of the ball valves to permit transfer of fluids via a conduit that can extend into the coupling socket past the plane of separation.

The first and second cover sections each include a longitudinal slit thereon for being spread apart and positioned over the pipes. Measurement indicia is positioned on a surface of said body, the measurement indicia provides an indication of the length of the cover sections for proper sizing and installation of said cover section on a pipe.

    摘要： A connector assembly for connecting double walled insulated tubing uses connector members each having inner and outer walls engaging inner and outer walls of the tubing, and end walls which are configured to interengage and form a lapped joint, each outer wall and optionally each inner wall of each connector member being associated with a support ring so that each tubing wall is clamped between a connector wall and a support ring by blind rivets or other fastenings passed through the connector wall, the tubing wall and the support ring. The connector assembly can be either factory applied or applied in the field using available hand tools, yet provides a neat and reliable connection.

    摘要： A conduit system composed of insulated jacketed conduit units each having an exposed male conduit end and an opposite integral female conduit end with an internal seal ring carrying groove slidably and sealingly receiving the male end of an adjacent unit thereby forming an expansion coupling between the units. A flexible insulation ring surrounds the coupled ends of the adjacent units and a sleeve surrounds the ring and the adjacent ends of the jackets of the units and is sealed to the jackets. The conduit cores of the units are thus surrounded with insulation and jackets or sleeves and are free to expand and contract withot opening up leakage paths or buckling the installed conduit system regardless of temperature variations normally encountered by the system.

Each pipe assembly includes a pipe with a heater housing mounted thereon to form a cavity along the exterior of the pipe and a preformed insulation layer for insulating the pipe and the heater housing. A connecting assembly is used to join the pipe assemblies and form a pipeline. Pull means detachably connected to a heating element facilitates placement of the heating element in the heater housing cavities, and a pulling assembly attached to the heater element permits removal of the heater element after installation of the pipeline.

    摘要： An air duct is provided with a female ring that is mounted within one end of the air duct and a male ring that is mounted within the other end of the air duct with a portion of the male ring extending beyond the end of the air duct. The extended portion of the male ring has an outside diameter less than the internal diameter of the female ring whereby the extended portion is adapted to be inserted into a female ring of another duct. The extended portion is also provided with projecting means of greater diameter than the internal diameter of the female ring for engaging a female ring of another duct to prevent withdrawal of the extended portion of the male ring from the female ring. The flexible air duct is assembled by securing the female ring and the male ring to ends of a helical reinforcing member of the air duct. The helical reinforcing member, the female ring and a portion of the male ring are then encased within a tubular envelope with the projecting means of the male ring external of the tubular envelope.
