摘要: A backlight device including an optical sheet diffusing and outputting light from a light guide plate, a frame member having an opening corresponding to a light output surface of the light guide plate, the frame member being provided between the light guide plate and the optical sheet to secure a positional relationship therebetween. The device also includes a plurality of securing members provided at a peripheral edge of the frame member, which secure the optical sheet, are each coupled with the frame member via a thin hinge, and each include a pressing portion having a hole, where the pressing portion presses the optical sheet to the frame member. The frame member is provided with protrusions respectively fit into the holes. The optical sheet includes perforations, and the protrusions are inserted through the perforations and fit into the holes, and the pressing portions press the optical sheet to the frame member.

The luminaire further includes a cavity defined by the first and second geometric solid portions, a plurality of discrete light sources positioned to emit light into the cavity, a first aperture positioned to allow a first portion of light in the cavity to pass into the first geometric solid portion, and a second aperture positioned to allow a second portion of the light in the cavity to pass into the second geometric solid portion.

摘要: A light fixture includes a door frame, the door frame having at least one frame side and a reflector. The edge of the reflector engages a slot in the frame side, which includes at least one LED, to precisely position the reflector and the at least one LED relative to one another. The at least one frame side may also include a reflective kicker for reflecting light from the at least one LED onto the reflector. The reflector may include a semi-specular optical material, which specularly reflects some of the incoming light from the at least one LED and diffusely reflects other of the incoming LED light. The reflector may be collapsible for ease of transportation and shipping; the at least one frame side precisely positions the reflector and at least one LED during assembly and installation.

摘要: A lighting apparatus is provided with a housing having an upper assembly, a lower assembly, and a middle assembly. A lighting module is positioned within the housing in which the lighting module includes at least one light emitting diode (LED). A reflector is positioned within an outer lens of the middle portion of the housing above the lighting module. A reflector plate is positioned within the housing at approximately the same level or below the lighting module. The reflector plate is configured to reflect light emitted by the at least one LED after the light is reflected by the reflector. The outer lens is configured to refract light emitted by the at least one LED after the light has been reflected by the reflector.

摘要: A variety of illumination devices are disclosed that are configured to manipulate light provided by one or more light-emitting elements (LEEs). In general, embodiments of the illumination devices feature one or more optical couplers that redirect illumination from the LEEs to a reflector which then directs the light into a range of angles. In some embodiments, the illumination device includes a second reflector that reflects at least some of the light from the first reflector. In certain embodiments, the illumination device includes a light guide that guides light from the collector to the first reflector. The components of the illumination device can be configured to provide illumination devices that can provide a variety of intensity distributions. Such illumination devices can be configured to provide light for particular lighting applications, including office lighting, task lighting, cabinet lighting, garage lighting, wall wash, stack lighting, and downlighting.

摘要: Today the use of false ceilings is decreasing as it involves too high an energy consumption. The tendency nowadays is to have bare concrete ceilings onto which luminaires are mounted, which often causes acoustical problems. The invention deals with these acoustical problems and relates to an illumination device (1) comprising a concave reflector (2) bordering,with an outer edge (3),on a light emission window (4). The reflector has a reflective surface (7) facing the light emission window. The illumination device further comprises lamp holding means (8) for accommodating a light source (9),and said lamp holding means being positioned in between the reflective surface and the light emission window. The illumination device is characterized in that the reflector is made of acoustically absorbing material.
