    摘要: A cooling device comprises a fan, a heat exchanger and an aerosol, whereby water will be nebulized and then ejected by the fan onto the heat exchanger, so that the water drops produced can be easily boiled or vaporized and absorb heat efficiently. This mechanism will save water and electricity significantly and at the same time reduce the temperature of the heat exchanger, therefore enhancing the cooling efficiency of the device. Further, if either the water quality or the air quality of the environment is bad, a pre-treatment of the water to be used by the aerosol is needed so as to prolong the life of the device.

    摘要: An air conditioning system includes an exterior condenser having a heat exchange coil. Spray head structure on the condenser is arranged to spray water from a water supply onto the heat exchange coil. A control device periodically energizes the water supply whereby water is supplied to the spray head and onto the exchange coil to clean and cool the coil. The water supply may comprise a condensate reservoir and pump assembly, and conduit for delivery of condensate from the drain of an interior evaporator to the reservoir. Alternatively, the water supply may comprise tap water under pressure. When condensate is used, tap water under pressure may serve as a supplemental supply to the reservoir.

    摘要: The base pan of a packaged terminal air conditioning system has a first condensate collecting surface under its evaporator coil and a second condensate collecting surface under its condenser coil. Fluid communication between the two surfaces is provided by a condensate flow channel, and the second condensate collecting surface is disposed at a lower vertical height than said first condensate collecting surface, such that the condensate which forms on the evaporator coil drops off and immediately flows to the second condensation collecting surface. A lifting wall is placed just upstream of a lower portion of the condenser fan and adjacent the second condensate collecting surface. The lifting wall, in cooperation with the fan creates an area of decreasing pressure above the second condensate collection surface so as to draw up the condensate into a radially inward portion of the fan where it is drawn into the fan and dispersed onto the condenser coil.

    摘要: An air conditioning condenser cooling device is characterized by a unique valve assembly which delivers a spray mist to the coils of the condenser only while the condenser is operating. A vibration transducer is provided which senses vibrations of the condenser when the condenser is in operation. The transducer produces a signal which opens a valve to supply fluid such as water from a fluid supply to a spray nozzle adjacent the condenser coils. When the condenser is off and thus not vibrating, the valve closes and the spray is terminated.
