    摘要： An apparatus for soaking steel pieces including cold steel pieces and hot steel pieces. The apparatus is of the type which includes: a soaking furnace for subjecting the steel pieces to a soaking treatment; a preheating chamber for preheating the cold steel pieces before the cold steel pieces are introduced into the soaking furnace, the preheating chamber being connected to the soaking furnace for receiving waste heat from the soaking furnace for the preheating treatment and having an outlet portion for discharging the cold steel pieces; and a mechanism for introducing the steel pieces into the soaking furnace and for advancing the steel pieces through the soaking furnace. The soaking furnace has: a heating zone for heating the steel pieces; a soaking zone being communicated to the heating zone and having a heat source for heating the steel pieces, which have been heated in the heating zone, at a higher temperature than in the heating zone for the soaking treatment, the soaking zone having a ceiling higher than a ceiling of the heating zone; and means for connecting the heating zone to the preheating chamber for feeding waste heat.

    摘要： A simple, robust and rationally operable device for tilting rolled stock comprises a tilting head comprising a gripping device for the rolled stock, which defines a tilting axis, and a first drive for rotating the tilting head about a tilting head axis extending parallel to the tilting axis to adjust the tilting head in respective tilted positions. A lifting device supports the tilting head, and a second drive is arranged to raise and lower the lifting device to adjust the lifting device in respective lifting positions. A carriage supports the lifting device, and a third drive is arranged to displace the carriage transversely to the tilting axis to adjust the carriage in respective transverse positions. A numerical control is connected to the first, second and third drives and is arranged to receive control signal components respectively corresponding to the respective tilted, lifting and transverse positions to control the drives in response thereto to adjust the tilting of the rolled stock.

    摘要： A loader device for an automatic space treatment furnace having a longitudinal axis and means for driving the furnace in guided translation along said longitudinal axis. The loader device is disposed in the vicinity of the furnace and comprises both a cartridge-carrying carousel fitted with a set of cartridge holders removably receiving sealed closed cartridges each designed to contain a sample for treatment in said space furnace, the cartridges being disposed in the carousel parallel to its axis of rotation, and a control mechanism for imparting indexed rotary drive to the cartridge holders. The carousel is itself mounted relative to the furnace in such a manner that its axis of rotation forms a predetermined angle a relative to the longitudinal axis of the furnace, and each cartridge holder of the carousel co-operates with a tilting mechanism to enable each cartridge to take up a working position in which the axis of the cartridge is tilted through said predetermined angle .alpha. relative to the axis of rotation of the carousel so as to be aligned with the axis of the furnace.
